Is there a better option than this to get WoW particle effect style enchantments? While I do like the absurdity of some of the options here, some of them are too large, or do not properly adhere to the weapon's model (for example with weapons introduced by Reforging to the Masses). It also supports Summermyst and Reliquary of Myth, both of which I use.

I hope they change the gameplay to be more simlilar to Skyrim. Add in better weapons and loot. Obliviion is too much of a grind. If theres anyone around thats familiar with editing meshes in outfit studio perhaps you can point me in the right direction with a problem I'm having.
I'm trying to fix a gap between the hands and body.
Previously, I "fixed" the same problem with the feet by merging vertices with a reference loaded. This is probably the wrong way to go about it but the results were good enough. There didnt appear to be any issues at the area the two models connect.
However, when I do the same with the hands, at the wrist there is a dark area (shadow?) on the texture where I moved the vertices. It doesnt show in OS, but when loaded in CK/Ingame there dark spot appears.
I have 0 experience in all this stuff so in the end if it requires something like blender I'll just leave them with the gap and be happy the feet were good enough heh.

it's got a pretty good modding scene which has helped to modernize it a lot. it's still a very old game but for me it's the closest any of these elder scrolls games have got to a fantasy life simulator. it's a repetitive game but if you enjoy playing skyrim by just going on random adventures and doing radiant quests then i think there could be something for you to enjoy in daggerfall, even moreso if you enjoy older dungeon crawlers. dungeons are special in daggerfall

I dunno, I actually found Cyberpunk to have plenty of replay value. And Skyrim is deliberately designed not to have any replay value. The game is terrified of locking you out from content, so you can essentially 100% the game with one character. Something that is impossible in New Vegas, Morrowind or even BG3.

Speaking of Daggerfall - unlike in other TES games, I assume there is no point in NOT using fast travel all the time, because the distances are too long and you won't find anything interesting in the overworld anyway?

if you're modding there's a combination of mods that make overworld travel a thing tho. travel options + basic roads lets you automatically follow roads connecting towns with configurable gamespeed. combine it with realistic wagon, climates and calories and you've got a wagon durability as well as your own needs as an extra concern.
then there's world of daggerfall and encounter mods like warm ashes which add landmarks and random events along the roads and wilderness to interrupt your journey

Can't be all TES all the time even with several options to choose from. I did a hefty run through of MW due to the new stuff dropping and then spent a few months fooling around in Skyrim. Koriana's current playthrough is kinda petering out because I want to restart and scrap a few mods but since I don't want to restart just yet I've been spending my time more in another game.

I am actually playing through heavily modified POTI modlist at the moment and I am both thrilled and horrified how quickly my quest log keeps filling up. Literally every second NPC has a quest for me. And I played through the main quest a number of times, but this playthough feels very fresh to me.
And it fixes my two big issues with quests in MW: there aren't enough quests for a freelancer, because the game REALLY wants you to join some faction and too many early game quests are pointing you towards Balmora and there are barely any quests that point you towards Ald'Ruhn/Sadrith Mora, and I want a reason to actually join House Redoran.
