I literally gasped when I saw the skycutters. Back in TWW2, I never thought we would get such a unique, beautiful unit. CA has done a great job and it seems the delay has been for the best. Can’t wait for this DLC!

I look forward to using that editor mod to have all of the donut start the game under the control of all the Slaaneshi factions and then play as Aislinn Reconquista'ing the High Elf homeland and all the colonies. Gonna be fun I think.

Why do they keep showing off the Slaneesh chick like she's an incredible model?
She isn't that impressive. And the theme of the trailer, was she acts like she's trying to tempt the elf, then just kills her.

Also, the High Elf guy...why focus so much on him instead of the units? He looks generic. And why give a beastment unit to Slaneesh?

It's entirely possible that End Times will be some standalone release like Attila total war. I vaguely recall the announcement talking about titles rather than content. I just wrote that thought out but the more I think on it the more it feels certain. If End Times allows you to transform the map like sink Ulthuan or do that weird dead-wall that Gelt made then why make it a DLC? It's going to be more expensive than the chorfs, and once you hit 30 dollars you're halfway to a full release.

I'm starting to get more skeptical of the leaks. I'd rather not see Age of SIgmar though.

Man I just want these games to properly keep orders. I want to order a skirmish unit to shoot something and I want it to retain that order even if its skirmish behavior made it run half the map, after the threat is gone I want it to keep following the unit I told it to. I want ranged units to not have LoS issues constantly. I want a unit to obey my order to move somewhere even if it's being stabbed by 400 Gor dicks from all directions, I gave you an order to fucking move somewhere, you obey it, you don't drop the order and start brawling. I want proper archer docking on walls, I want defensive sieges to be heavily in favor of the defender. I want garrisons to be customizable, let me pay for extra units in a garrison as I need them without having to manage 700 lords.

There was WH2 mod that removed the stupid retaliation script that is causing orders to drop. Your units would single-mindedly obey your orders: disengage, chase targets, flee on skirmish mode, even duel lords embedded in enemy infantry without forgetting who they were supposed to fight in the next 5 seconds. The only issue was that they wouldnt automatically fight back if attacked, only if commanded to.
Then again sometimes I get units going idle even in the middle of melee if they eat a stray arrow, so current situation isnt much better

I was about to deploy my Minotaurs of Khorne in battle for the first time but then I noticed that Karl Franz had a unit of Empire Spearmen.

Army size shouldn't be limited to 20 but armies in general shouldn't have more than 18 units with more units incurring bigger and bigger penalties to movement, upkeep and replenishment. Each race should be different in this regard.

As someone with more than 1500 hours in this game and nearly every DLC purchased, I only created this forum account out of sheer frustration at watching how the franchise is going into decline.


The way CA communicates and engages with the Total War community is absolutely pathetic. This is a player base that has supported the franchise for decades, yet the only time we hear from you is when something explodes and you are forced to apologize, always repeating the same line that you will not repeat past mistakes and then repeating them anyway.


It is ridiculous that in an entire year you have not managed to deliver a single new DLC, and that Tides of Torment has now been delayed by nearly six months. Blaming bug fixes for pushing the release even further makes no sense when you only started addressing those issues in the last couple of weeks.


Meanwhile, the current state of the game is borderline unplayable. The campaign AI and bugs you let slide for months have gutted the experience. Saying you will prioritize fixes from now on does not undo the fact that you neglected them until it became a public disaster.


And after all this, the new features you are touting for the High Elves are underwhelming at best. After over a year of waiting for a DLC, players expected far more than a handful of tweaks that feel like scraps rather than meaningful content.


The bigger concern is whether you are going to pull the plug on the game altogether. Total War Warhammer III is still one of CA’s greatest successes and has huge potential left, but your handling of it leaves the community worried that you are letting it die on the vine.

Imagine having a golden goose like wh3, and stabbing it. again, and again, and again, and again. In fact, it seems fucking impossible to kill, but it keeps bleeding and screaming bloody fucking murder. Like, that was their actual business plan with WH3.
it was so fucking easy. just shit out some lord packs every few months, and like a race pack once a year. It couldn't be easier. It literally ran itself and all of the creative work was already done.

To be fair, a timeline of 5 years for DLC would have been completely fine on the WH2 schedule of 3 DLCs per year.
But then it became 2 DLCs per year, and then 1 DLC per year. Some faggot on reddit a while back made a little chart saying "ERM well askhally the WH3 DLCs have more stuff in them than the WH2 DLCs so stop complaining mkay".

But the reality is starting to hit home with people that one fucking DLC per year is not ultimately delivering more of anything, especially if none of the three factions in it are from races you play.
Then comes the realisation that new games are coming. A fantasy title, a historical title, either way these things are the future. They are going to be demanding the majority of CA's resources going forward, not an old game from 2022. So that means that once those new games start releasing, in November 2026 at the very earliest, WH3 will probably be declared finished with nothing more to be done.

Which means, that if there's anything you REALLY want in WH3 before it finishes, you have until the end of 2026 to get it, in all likelihood. Then people realise how much is still left to be added. Then they realise that at the rate of 1 DLC per year, there's only really once chance for what they want to make it in. So the panic starts. Hopefully, December will deliver some good solid info about what exactly we should expect for WH3 in 2026, but the people are finally cottoning on that the end of WH3 is not something in the distant skies above, it's on the horizon and drawing closer and closer with each passing month.
