Bozja is more engaging because:

Anyway, most of the HW schizos were fading away so the thread was getting better slowly. Balmung was nice since no wanderers or travelers shitting up /shout
DC wars were funny (especially post DC travel when Aetherfags all came to Crystal and still do)
No posing tools so goonerfags weren't so rampant. You had to use the in-game emotes to tard wrangle porn together.
Normalfags/twitch/twitterfags didn't bother with this game so chats weren't filled with unfunny retards
TOS didn't nuke your account for calling out shitters in content
No plugins or at least not as many plugins that shortcut anything and everything
Mods and characters weren't as absurd, at best it was just hair tits ass dick and lewd or custom outfits
Gameplay wasn't saddled with 2 minute meta so jobs felt a lot more unique and a lot more fun like stance dancing and Tanks had to actually manage emnty
ARR dungeons had personality with odd mechanics that all got stripped away for retarded trusts
Crafters were hard to level and an omnicrafter was a lot of work time and money to achieve, players used to active talk in chats to ask crafters for gear or help

Phantom Jobs hardcore lock you onto them while you had some degree of freedom with Lost Actions, as I said in a reply, you could bring a healing one in case you had no healer as well to something that increased your DPS, you could bring something that increased your defense and enmity while bringing some utility too. Meanwhile Phantom Jobs are super locked to what you are on atm, you are on Knight? then you are tanky, that's it.


This may be fixed when they allow Freelancer to mix and match abilities though

Yeah, I guess when it's a system that's changing your xp bar (Eureka had Elemental Level, Occult Crescent has Knowledge Level) whereas Bozja had it as an additional system with the Mettle and Ranks. I dunno why they moved away from that but that's the only significant difference and it seems to be the culprit.

I'll say what we're all thinking, healers ruined this game and it's clear they're only included because this is an mmo and not because they actually fit. deep dungeon is fun because you could go in with any comp because of potions, pvp is fun because you could go with any comp because you mostly do your own self healing. with the newest foray most people went as tanks because they weren't reliant on healers. I say we remove healers entirely.
