She was left to rot for years, until she lucked out and got a slot in the 20th Anniversary V-Pet, followed by getting an X-Antibody form that debuted in the V-Pet that released the following year.

THEN she got a big break when she joined the roster of the current Card Game where she enjoyed a brief period of being one of the best picks for a Purple deck in the early days of the game's meta.

I don't doubt that she was always planned to be included in the next Digimon game, since Time Stranger was being worked on right after Hacker's Memory released, and Habu is a known Beelko simp, but frankly I'm glad BeelStarmon is enjoying this surge in popularity, even with casual Digimon fans and comparative normies.

I still havent really processed the plot twist. I has it spoiled for me but I just keep playing this game when I'm really tired. It's just...what. I do like the idea that we look like Cyborg 009 because Inori's brother loved it as a kid. And even Deputymon reminded him of it. But then. Did I get this right? Homeostatis turned one of countless Aegiomon shadows that were time travelling through parallel universes to find Inori and you're actually the hero. But the operator with a funny hat and your father are all in your head... it's very convoluted very fast. And didn't hit me emotionally. But maybe that's because I spoiled myself and was tired I dont know? How did everyone else feel about it?

In a more general way I love the idea of mixing the idea of modern heroes and Greek myth. And I really like the idea that Digimon inspired mythology and shit Habu started ever since Cyber Sleuth with 1 throwaway line because I like ancient aliens. I even had a Shakkoumon on my team the whole game. Something about realizing your own heroes/gods as Dan and Digimon is really cool to me. But the Dan/Aegiomon thing was really strange.

Maybe it would have been better if Dan wasnt a silent protagonist too.

It was one of the oddest things about the game because typically you'd expect to be hit by le nuance eventually and start seeing the Titans pov before solving the conflict peacefully but what the narrative does is telling you that yes the Titans were a marginalized group and they had to endure living the worst life for centuries after being banished but in the same time they actually suck as people and can't lead a civil life or existence after getting the land they want so take it back from them by force.

I don't think I've seen this kind of narrative in any recent game that tackles a conflict between 2 groups. I don't think Modern stories can actually say this group is oppressed but they also suck and need to lose.

Maybe you watched too many yt videos because yes despite the general online reception being that digimon surpassed Pokemon in this irritation this doesn't mean digimon is ever gonna be half as big as Pokemon, za is gonna sell 10x the copies of time stranger despite being a worse game and that's totally okay.
Pokemon is too big to fail and this has its negatives too. Gamefreak doesn't have to try and experiment or put any effort because if the people are already buying your product in millions then what's the purpose behind changing or taking risks ?
I want digimon to succeed but I also want the success to be manageable and reasonable so digimon doesn't stagnate or put all its efforts into one formula only.
Nearly all my favorite franchises are successful to a limited degree,they don't sell 10 million copies per game like SMT, Yakuza, atelier and trails.
I honestly don't think bandai is ever gonna release a digimon game that's surpassing 5 million copies or even gonna score higher than 83 on metacritic.
