This is actually pretty huge. It took a year, but the fact that there’s finally PvP means they’re going to start actively encroaching on DbD’s turf, which naturally means a fire lit under the ass of BHVR since people by and large actually like what this team is doing with their game. Once we get to play as the named killers complete with their own versions of perks and whatnot (which shouldn’t be far off now), it’ll easily be the biggest and longest lasting competitor, although it helps they weren’t retarded enough to go for the asymm route.

Also out of pocket question, but why the fuck does terminus have linger time, why isint it active through the entire EGC. It would be a great perk to make survivors more prone to leaving, but no. The moment the survivors have their gate open? The terminus will count down letting them reset (making it so you need to hit them more)

Mobility is something intrinsic to the game. There used to be the Window one for Unknown. It was great for low tier killers to catch up better. But because low tiers are usually the ones that are less liked by survivor players, IE killers that often have unique interactions or nonstandard chase mechanics, having viable options for them to climb ranks is commonly complained about by the most retarded denominator. Mobility is one of the strongest assets a killer can have, and is deadly combined with a strong chase power. Mobility is normally taken into account for a killers design to balance or complement their power, and you'll notice the weakest killers have none. The game would be significantly better if the devs went through and nerfed the top 10 most used perks for both sides straight into the dirt. Pain res dms? Gone. Sprintburst vigil? Gone. Poof, instantly people have to some kind of actually unique build when they play. Low tier killers would probably be fucked for a while but when their killrates drop below 40% maybe BHVR will actually buff them finally

I used my "fuck you go hold space+m1 while i crouch in the corner build" again, and astonishingly these survivors spent a entire 8:55 seconds in the trial, without seeing me ONCE. Can you imagine, 9 minutes of nothing while i went make myself toast

Not one, but TWO fucking add-ons that allow you to apply Oblivious with a killer that spends most of the time in stealth. Imagine if they were to apply something like Blindness or -% repair speed - that would've been useful. But no.

TWO add-ons to increase the reveal time for a downed/hooked survivor to a whooping 3 seconds (WOW!). Is it ever useful? Absolutely not. Again, if they were to completely block revealing they could've been somewhat useful, but it would promote slugging and camping - a big no-no in the current DBD. As if Ghostface is a good slugging character to begin with.

I also want to highlight that Knife Belt Clip (decrease terror radius while crouched). How often do you try to sneak upon a survivor WITHOUT Night Shroud on? Almost never. Because it doesn't work. Come on, it doesn't even hide the red stain.

So you're basically stuck using the same purple add-ons in every game because only they make sense. It's hard to imagine that all of his add-ons were even worse on release - a feat all in itself.

I've posted before about it, recently in fact, but I get ignored or just a snarky dismissive 1% of the effort responses. I'll summarize again though. One of Ghost Face's big problems is that he can creep on on a target from a clever angle, get close, begin building some well deserved stalk... except that never happened because he was revealed by Ace along the way who isn't even playing anymore but just following Ghost Face around from a safe distance and revealing him whenever he goes into Night Shroud because why the fuck shouldn't he, what can Ghost Face do about that and what does the team have to lose from Ace NOT doing that? My idea to at least fix this was this: you can only reveal Ghost Face if he's built stalk on you (any at all even 1%) in the past 10 seconds. This means, just like with Myers or a crouched Pig moving by you with an easier target in mind, you can't just completely cuck him out of that. This alone would make him enormously better feeling to play. He would still be D tier but he would actually feel fun and you would get the jump on survivors more often. You would no longer feel completely powerless being revealed constatly left and right. On top of this, instead of survivors on the hook having the ability to reveal you, I would instead make it so that the act of beginning (not even completing) an unhook removes all stalk from you if Ghost Face is within 32 meters.

Are you placing pods aggressively in chase? Think of them as a chase tool first, and only as a way to guard objectives later in the game say during a three gen or if there's a particular gen you've chased them off which is nearly complete. Otherwise just ruthlessly place pods during chase until they're tagged and keep teleporting to them. The point of Killers having powers and being faster than survivors is that they don't win chases.

Start with Sprint Burst and Windows of Opportunity, both of these are great value to your own survival.
Run toward a pallet or spot where your 3rd Person camera can see the killer's approches without him seeing you. This is called a checkspot.
When the killer arrives, try to react to where he is coming from and begin running around the object tightly to loop it. Once the killer is too close for another loop to happen, throw the pallet. Use this time to get to a windoe to do similar things or another pallet with WoO.
This will make you last 30-60 seconds in chase, depending on Killer.

Krasue is clunky and slow and feels like shit to play and will only get shittier as she gets nerfed further I seriously don't get the hype. I can play around pretty much every tile better with chucky's and don't need to tag them with an infection. My main complaint in the ptb (that most in the discord were saying as well) was that she felt like shit with all of the cooldown animations so EVERY little action she does gives the survivors breathing room (aside from the spit but that's supposed to be free). Having to go through a huge cooldown to break a pallet that your power isn't letting you play around is horrific design. Playing her feels like trudging through mud. And on release they buffed her to be a bit quicker between things and play around fillers slightly better, but even then I played one match on release and decided she still feels like shit and gave up on her. Now played her once more after buffs and she still feels awful. I don't care if she is the strongest killer in the game she is dogshit and the opposite of how they should be designed. need survivor perks that let you use the interactive ability button 1 (and another perk for 2) while standing next to a locker to do something to the locker. this is an untapped context use. the obvious but uninspired idea is a trap that blows the doors open as the killer passes by for an unmanned head on affect. an also uninspired idea would be a teleport effect similar to vecnas relic effect. and as these are the most obvious and uninspired ideas that already have the coding done, these are the ones will behaviour will pick.

I don't get why survivors keep playing the game, it's extremely unfun and only killers get wins non stop. If all survivors were to quit BHVR would finally have to do something.
