Some guy on another thread kept arguing with me over saji not being a brick because you could summon it, add prayers, add harakiri, then reveal it to summon ara and tribute it to add ritual, but either he was being disingenuous, retarded, or just TCG-brained ie a cheater, because ara only adds monsters. The other snake dude can add ritual, yes, but only if it's already in grave, and prayers is OPT so no point on summoning him instead of ara.

I do realize this will be a very uncommon situation, because you'll either have a better normal or pre-preparation in hand, but i just want to know if saji and 4 handtraps/nonengine is a insta scoop.

The best link deck doesn't even bother to run her. I:P is good mainly because she lets you turn any two leftover monsters into something useful. You'd almost always rather summon something else with an interruption if available. Since I:P requires 3 material to do anything useful outside of Vaalmonica. She's still extremely strong obviously.

There was never an event with Quants as a loaner, and few people own it because it's an awful deck. If you are popping off and going on a long combo with the deck though you usually don't want to use the first effect since it leaves you with less material on Magnus, and also yeah, leaves you vulnerable to Ogre which you should be able to tell the opponent has from their field flashing red. Not saying it won't ever work, just that it isn't a guaranteed win if they're actually doing a 30 minute combo like you said and aren't a retard.

I think IP and SP are both fine and bannable. They're both very good but rarely feel too powerful. It's really just their material requirements and versatility that makes them great. Having versatile cards is a good thing and leads to more skill expression. Them being vulnerable to battle is also a good thing and leads to more skill expression.
But them being something any deck can slap on their endboard with any two monsters they have can be an issue. Largely the issue is that some decks can spam too much material too easily though.
Also as was already stated, they're cute so they should stay.

It's not hard to make, Hojo is a perfectly usable card. It's just not efficient use of materials. The deck can set up Aktros+Hojo+Dominator Duke as easily as it can most of its endboards, it's just why would you do that over normal ED monsters.

Ancient fairy dragon is such a strange deck. it wants to be a control deck but also makes the boss monster pretty difficult to summon and doesn't even provide protection for it. I'm done with dice rally. I started coming up with mitsu combos and practicing test hands on edopro before I use the deck to go from m5 to m1.

I spent more than a decade on other simulators only really playing blue-eyes and cyber dragon. I played master duel for the first month and then quit until March of this year when I saw that the new blue-eyes cards were added to the game.

So Mitsu is the first time in a very long time that I move out of my comfort zone. I have also had Maliss for several months but never found the motivation to learn it, always just playing primite blue-eyes.

there's an argument to make about waiting to drop it once they have comitted to their combo line. the prime example is tear format where it is often correct to maxx c after kitkallos so they do not simply pass on kit+ whatever trap. many times i've been maxx c'd or fuwa'd in draw phase and i just normal summon or sarc/underground chessy, draw 2, and pass with 3+ hand traps + followup whereas if they hadn't done it early i might have committed to a march hare line and been forced to either give up multiple draws or sit on a nothing field potentially with a wasted link decoder on the board
