Commander arty was well-telegraphed (the first few shots would always be wildly inaccurate), it had a cooldown and could only be used by a single person
Meanwhile soldier-used arty (in any form, be it mortars, SPGs, MLRSs whatever) is fucking cancer because it allows anyone to get kills and impact the battle with zero way to fight back. Special mention goes to bf1 mortar trucks as they could clear out a flag while remaining in forbidden zone for the other team

Love the TTK, love the loss of control state. I've actually gotten fairly decent at adjusting during it so I rarely crash unless I'm pretty much right over the ground and don't have the space during the first roll.

Fix the IFV shit, lower the vertical lock range by like 200m, and increase flare duration to 5s like 2042. I think that's pretty reasonable.
You could even buff the Gepard/Cheetah's gun range/velocity to compensate for all I care.

You want to play more mid range tho run spec ops take things kinda slow use a suppressor use proximity detectors and the recon drone. How do I do this challenge

i don't know if it's just nostalgia but this game isn't as fun as bf4. The maps I played within 2 hours of purchasing today were all claustrophobic. particle effects and blindness everywhere, except the glowing red diamond that gives you effective wallhacks. The support class starts with smoke grenades, and they do literally nothing as players auto-spot you through smoke anyway. Class distinctions mean nothing, I spawn camped a building with my machine gun, killed a bunch of noobs running in blind, and auto-regenerated any wounds to my body. None of my teammates revived me, ever. The game has this complicated design of letting everyone revive? but the support/LMG has the defibrillator now

Design flaws unfixed from bf4:

>Conquest has the best "battlefield" experience, but also is anti-climatic and can drag
>Rush has the best climax, knows when to cull a one-sided lobby, but still stuck with grenade spam on tight maps, engineer left useless besides Wall-E drone

There are other things I could nitpick about, but this game feels like a downgrade from bf3/4 is what really wraps it up. Nothing new or innovative has been done

Assault should be the close range combat class who gets gadgets that help attacking at close range (ladder/C4/M26/smoke launcher and so on) and a selection of good close/medium range guns.
Support should be the long range combat class who gets longer range gadgets (mortar/cover/grenade interceptor and so on) and good longer range guns. Also ammo box.
Medic should be the medic who gets medic gadgets, and bad short range guns (nerf SMGs so they're close range only instead of letting you snipe). Medic box is now separate from ammo box, also nerf regen speed so healing is actually useful.
Engineer is fine but give them the SMG nerf too.

There was some report about the amount of money Microsoft lost by having CoD on Gamepass instead of being fully purchased, and that's why they raised the Gamepass prices. I have played support almost exclusively since BF6 launched

after a week I can say confidently that I think support should be nerfed

I'm basically done with all the challenges by now, by far the most obnoxious ones were

Xfcp is the one I use I was just in a little while ago you have to spam host it could take a few minutes. It’s worth it to do some of the challages in bot servers. But the resupply portion of that assignment won’t work with bots. You can also do it in a rush bot server and I think that is a much faster way to get into one since it seems to be based on how game mode and a lot of people don’t grind bots on rush

A good engineer/couple of engineers is the difference between a team full of assualt/supports or supports/recon decimating the match. They're arguably the most important class in the game at the moment. Most of them decide who wins a breakthrough if they have vehicles. If they don't, its usually whichever team has the most supports that can hold ground.
