I agree on the farm being bad. I think that's more to do with them trying to make it absolutely necessary to gain certain digimon evolution stats like Cyber Sleuth did. You basically HAD to waste time with the Farm or spend fast complete cash if you needed certain stats, like ABI. I'm guessing in their way to minimize the farm being a requirement, they went too far and made it so less useful.

Honestly though the main gripe I have with the game is how shit the character customization is, that's the only area where pokemon is beating it. I want to dress up my character with new hairstyles, new hair colors, cute clothes, dresses, skirts, thigh highs, crop tops, and more, but all I've got are some t-shirts and shitty dlc costumes I gotta pay for.
The game is a 9/10 still while legends ZA is like a 4/10.

Same door. The one at cosmic area after leaving Blimpmon is the closest (to my memory) for what I was doing. I was leaving it and blimping straight to Central Area to buy food or other stuff the shop was being stupid about and not selling, then blimping back to Cosmic Area's entrance to enter the Theater door. I'm gonna expirement some more with game speed inside in front of the door at Cosmic Area and while Inside the Theater to see if that affects it first, then try doing it while traveling (blimping through areas) so see if that's something that factors in.

Devimon was only cool back when he was a villain and threat in the first series. He's just kind of there now as a mon to evolve over. Nobody really cares much. It doesn't help that most of his evolutions completely changes his design. Myotismon got so many forms and replaced him in the anime as the main baddy. NeoDevimon is a badass design, but it still kind of loses the pitch-black dark feel Devimon had. It's also not really used and doesn't have an ultimate form. Devimon is just too underused.

Dukemon is specifically meant to be an evolution of that Digimon, to the point of there even being anime relevance to it. Are you intentionally being obtuse here? Beelzemon comes from Myotismon and Devimon mechanic wise, but doesn't mean its meant to be the same "character" origin of it coming from a Devimon. None of the Demon Lords originate from a Devimon. Lore Wise, the Royal Knight Gallantmon doesn't originate from Growlmon in lore, but we still connect Gallantmon to Growlmon because of the anime and how most fans going for Gallantmon specifically in the games will start from that Digivolution line, unless they need the stats required elsewhere.

Creepymon not only doesn't carry the same thematic design as Devimon, but is also never compared to, referencing, or having any lore relation to Devimon. There's no anime, manga, or other media showing Creepymon evolving from Devimon's line. That is just mechanic stuff. This is like connecting Orochimon to Minvermon because she evolves from it in Time Stranger. There are many ways to get to Wargreymon, but everyone sees The Agumon line as the canon route to it. One thing I want to know is do each Digimon have their own innate specific stats they gain per level on top of personality specific stat gains or is it all random or personality locked. For BeelzeMervamon/Mervamon Beelzebumon/whatever, the components must be BeelStarrmon and Mervamon. Perhaps Spadamon/Minervamon is the first partner and Sparrowmon comes late like Espimon in Ghost Game?

I imagine that one could see BeelzeMervamon as an upgrade to JetMervamon in this setting, and could potentially directly evolve from it.

I think Kazuhamon might be a sleeper and may be better than Sakuyamon. At first glance, they're kind of the same shit. But Kazuhamon being a data type with dark moves is especially terrible in this particular game on its own. In any other case, you would think that would damn it, but thanks to reversal, it's somehow amazing against the many many virus dark spammers. And if I recall correctly, there's like one boss where you would actually want the specific combination of a data type that removes debuffs and uses dark moves, and it's Apollomon. If you use Sakuyamon there, you can mitigate his buffs, but you won't do any damage unless you reverse, and if you do that, you lose the data>vaccine matchup. Same strat worked for Cyclomon. Arguably even better since Gotsumon are immune to Awesome Quake. Also now had Attack Bind to debuff with which definitely helped.
Unfortunately even with Aegiomon only Guarding, he still at a LOT of damage/attention before finally going down, but I imagine he'll die a lot faster in later fights. Fight also lasted a long-ass time given I was relying on Wind Claw on Dracomon for the only source of damage.
