Honestly, I feel like lots of you are retarded or nikke is your first videogame ever. All the lost sectors are pretty intuitive, and you can usually reason out pretty easily what to do next, everything feels natural, like you usually use the new button you see, you seldom have to backtrack. Lost sector is easy, I think I could do most of them without thinking/watching something on side because the answers are so streamlined. It definetely feels videogame-y and not random. Most of the time the answer is to head into undiscovered fog of war areas and press a switch that leads to another switch.

She lost her memory and is malleable like clay, accepts anything people ask of her, doesn't know what marriage means. But she's fine with lion man up until he tries to actually strip her clothes off and then the Heroic Spirit inside of her intervenes and knocks him out. So Mashu technically would have cucked Guda but got cockblocked by the annoying asshole spirit that lives inside of her. That spirit is even less liked than Mashu because he's a giant moralfag who told (You) to go neck yourself and stop trying to save the planet (yes, this is considered the 'moral' option according to him). So even though he prevented a cucking of the MC he also prevents the MC from fucking Mashu as well, so nobody wins

the point I'm making is it's the puzzles are not smart. All the puzzles are linear. There is never a time you have to see a new button and not use it immediately (there is never a "I need to remember this button for later moments"). If there's a new action you do it immediately, if it opens a new gate, go through it. Everything is put into the game for a reason, there are no tricks or logical red herrings.. When I see people struggle, I genuinely don't understand, it's barely a puzzle. You are looking at some ancient tier lists. Liter is still good but that cdr ramp up will get you killed in campaign so use Siren instead if you have her. Her cover repair comes in handy for certain bosses but Naga can do that too and heal at the same time.
Later on there is a boss where stacking all the buffs for one shot is mandatory so Liter sees use there too. She is old and mostly replaced but not obsolete yet.

Stakes at the end of the day is just a significant consequence when your protagonist failed to achieve important things they supposedly to do and there are actually plenty of high stakes moments in Nikke like in Red Ash and subsequently Old Tales where mankind end up to take refuge in underground because they lose the war or Overzone where Goddess Squad end up get betrayed & abandoned by Ark, that's a fucking high stakes, the only problem is all of those story are flashback hence we already knew how it will end thus lessen the impact of the ending but again by no means all those consequences are something that we calcified as low stakes.
