i do not have a switch and have no plans to buy the game but scolipede looks like i designed it *TOOTS OWN HORN* it matches my preferences very well. also dragalge and froslass are super good. they're basically all really really good though, but this is what i expect from returning designs in new pkmn, they're always pretty fantastic and far above the regular caliber. the more dramatic forms like megas and UBs both match and formed my tastes muchly. creature design in all its applications is my #1 art interest so im happy to discuss it more

i think it also depends a lot on what you knew before, like if you've always drawn with fineliners and markers i think it's probably easier to get used to tablet without stabilizer, but if you did pencil or fountain pen before it's probably more difficult?

i've used my tablet alongside traditional drawing for so long i don't really know if there's any delineation for me. i just prefer to have the tech get in the way of my will as little as possible, and i think i mostly value the spirit showing through over the drawing looking better. also i think it starts to feel mushy and distant pretty quickly as it gets higher.
also much much more childishly but maybe more crucially i want to be like my inspirations and if they're not using stabilizer i would feel like a faker when i reached their level. like if i can achieve the same high results without stabilizer i want to. and i'm terrified of becoming one of those toddlers who can't walk because they used those walky ring chair things too much.

Now that we're talking about stabilizers and shit, I just wanna say that I've always felt weird by the fact that my line art is too smooth. It is so smooth that I have to make an active effort to remind myself to leave a few imperfections here and there to add more depth to the drawing, I hated having to add those imperfections on purpose but eventually I got over the weird autism I had over it and I think I'm doing much better now. Everything looks more dynamic and with more depth now.

well i was more saying that every human has sadism even if it's a little, which is a normal thing for us and shouldn't be this thing where we pretend to be scared over it. for example we all play violent video games where we assert ourselves over other people and kill them. Whether it is a singleplayer game where we kill however many people and take great pleasure from their suffering and deaths, or even multiplayer games which you could actually argue does cause real world harm either to ourselves when we lose and feel humiliated or upset over being beaten and our time took away from us, or when we do it to other people which in that case we feel fantastic. we used to be way more sadistic when we didn't have video games. we used to watch people fight to the death in colosseums because it was just fun and adrenaline pumping to see violence.
