All of this happened to me. Legion probably wasn't broken like this.
My best guess is gnome hunters aren't given the breadcrumb quest blizzard must for some reason check your class as they're handing out quests, the reason you don't have a pet is becasue gnomes were introduced with the mechanical pet trait, I'm guessing tauri devs didn't include it in the game yet because it's the wod patch, a retarded oversight honestly.
Legion was still broken and jank though, trying to scaling 12 years of content all at once was retarded.

Epsilon devs don't care about ERP and most of them ERP. They just don't want to run an ERP server. They want to run a RP server.
If you let the ERPers run rampant, your server becomes an ERP server. The way it works now, the ERPers have their place carved out on the server that doesn't intrude on anyone else. It's basically live and let live among the RPers and ERPers, which is how it should be and everyone who actually plays on the server is happy with this.

I only had someone leave in the middle of ERP twice and I have been roleplaying for more than a decade. As for RP quality, I did have a few encounters with people who couldn't write english well or who took years to write their replies, but I simply didn't RP with them again. I have more than a full friend list on turtle and have quite a lot of people on F-Chat too. There are no problems with finding good roleplayers.
