Tip: Don't charge your paddles. Just left click on teammates to res them, then throw the crate. Guaranteed +50 hp.

Losing on Sobek defense is a team issue, not map issue imo.
Losing first Empire defense is very common. The second objective is much easier to defend because the points are so far apart they end up flip flopping between the teams until the tickets run out

To say the attackers don't have a lil help is just ignoring the obvious. The real problem is less than half of the playerbase has spawn beacon unlocked and that's the bread and butter for breakthrough/rush. Worming your way into the backline means fuck all if some gremlin hiding in a dark corner catches you and now you have to spawn at HQ again or defense wise not having a back up spawn for your squad on a contested obj means you'll have to push past the no mans land line to begin contesting again.

"PSR farm" on Firestorm Breakthrough. On attack, camp the hill. On defense, get on top of the highest tower, then parachute down to the lower one further back towards your spawn, the one without any ladders a blunt rounded top; the tallest one is too close to where the bots spawn and you'll have a hard time hitting them since they're moving to the sides quite a bit on their way to the capture point from your POV whereas from the shorter one, they're basically running straight at you with minimal sideways movement.

It's basically BF4 with the movement mechanics of 1/V and a crazy fast TTK. Fundamentally all the gameplay mechanics are solid, it's not a bunch of half finished shit stuck together with duct tape like 2042 was. It feels legitimately good to play, like it's one of the good entries of the series.

The downsides are that there are not many maps yet, and they are kinda on the small side, so we have to wait and see how much more they put out. The UI is total horseshit. And of course, we have yet to see how deep they try to fuck your wallet with battlepass and MTX bullshit.

TL;DR The actual game is good, it's just like, everything else surrounding the game that's not great.

A less generous way of putting this would be to say the maps are dogshit and there's no hope they'll fix them. You know Firestorm from BF3/4? Not only is that the biggest map in the game, but they still felt the need to shrink it. And when I say it's the biggest I mean it's the biggest even after they made it smaller.

Nah I think the maps are decent, size notwithstanding. They've actually done a better job at making the urban layouts not be a total clusterfuck, there's lots of flanking routes, lots of cover, and a pretty natural flow. Like, for what they are, they're good; it's just that what they are is more infantry focussed.

There was a mode in featured called Chaos Conquest and it appears to have been taken down just because it was giving players the ability to get 70+ kills in a match and letting them farm more efficiently.

Bot farming is lame. Its fun for the first few matches because you're like "whoa this is so easy and I'm unlocking stuff so fast!!" but the more I did it the more hollow and unsatisfying it felt. I realized I have more fun getting 20 kills against actual humans in one match than 200+ against bots that can barely fight back.
I've decided I prefer to unlock things in real matches even if it takes more time or luck. I'm in no rush. The game sold 7-million copies, has crossplay, and is generally well-received, so its gonna be alive population-wise for a long time.
The gamer mentality of feeling like you need to race to unlock everything is incredibly stupid, especially these days when anything considered too powerful is nerfed within weeks or even just days. Besides, already got my M4 and my C4 and my recon drone.
I'm glad they're nerfing bot farming, especially stat-padding with bots. Let the wagies and comfy gamer dads from reddit suffer.

The enemy team has their minimaps permanently in their peripherals, always checks corners and watches for sniper glints, always restocks their whole teams ammo and revives everyone as soon as it's safe
The blue enemy team is full on helen keller mode, no minimap, no voiceovers for callouts so they never hear anyone ask for ammo, never revive unless it would only end in more deaths. They exist for the sole purpose of dragging down any actually good players that may have been put on your team by accident. You will scavenge for ammo crates or bring your own. The enemy will have free reign over vehicles unless you are the engineer or bring a friend.

The maps are pretty shit and there is no naval warfare yet. I honestly don't know what everyone + ING is smoking. This is probably the best modern military FPS cod-style campaign since at least COD Ghosts. There's bugs and the set pieces are not as flashy as what COD used to do but the gameplay is strong, the enemies are legit actually tough and are really good at pushing you with flanks and grenades and they're very accurate, the characters are fun (they managed to make a woman soldier that's actually fun and not a dogshit unbelievable character), and I like the voice acting over all.

you will never hit a good pilot with an RPG because they just strafe around the map too quickly. you will never hit a good pilot with a lockon weapon because they will never let themselves get caught in the open without countermeasures; they just duck behind a mountain and wait for the cooldown as soon as they have to use it.
the anti-air emplacements are a good step and they should put more of them around the map for players to use.
ultimately, the easiest thing to do in my opinion is just nerf the mobility of the attack helicopter which will force them to stay at a longer distance to avoid RPG shots. and it'll make them less annoying in general.
