I've found that farming the minotaur+scorpion lady is better than the necromancer. The centaurs with montino spam the instakill move, that while it has low acc, they have so much HP the chances of getting a character killed are pretty high. They have so much HP they take a while to kill to, and on the way I usually have to fight 2 mob battles, one of which is a sentry. Minotaur+Scorpion is just 5 fighter+Alice killing them in less than 5 minutes with no downtime and zero risk.

I'm halfway through rank 7 and have no more bounties that give points, what am I missing?

Kunai do have low accuracy, but you can always run a line or two of accuracy on your gear to more than cover it. The thing is once you have enough accuracy you can't get more accurate. You can always hit harder however. You can change how much accuracy you have on your equipment to an extent to avoid overcapping with wasted stats. You can't do that with IVs.

Go up to corruption 6 - that makes it a lot easier. The first phase is the deadliest - none of the attacks are telegraphed and he can pull anything out of his moveset - double roars, tentacle thrash, or just piddly tentacle attacks. If you want to be absolutely safe, yes, you need to use Knight's Defence every turn and try to burn him down to the first knockdown before you run out of SP on the Knight. You may want to ignore the tentacles like Lulu suggests to get him downed faster. On the easier difficulties killing the tentacles is relatively easy and mostly neuters his moveset, but they are a lot tankier on the higher difficulties and unless you're spending a lot of resources to kill them fast the Gatekeeper will inevitably pull out one of his party-wipe moves in the time it takes you to down the tentacles.

His moveset gets much more predictable after the knockdown, and if you are geared up enough you can keep him locked in the gate-opening phase by knocking him down again after he gets up. There is one guaranteed roar when he gets up to gather his last strength - at that point he's back to his whole moveset and you've got to burn him down again while keeping up Knight's Defence.

A Samurai (or even two samurai if you have leveled both Bugen and Shiou with good katanas) with Quickdraw stance helps a bunch - all the Gatekeeper attacks will trigger Quickdraw's evasion+counter (even the roar - if the Sam is in quickdraw they won't take any damage, and will not be shuffled or stunned either), and the counter-strike will always target the main body. If you leave the tentacles alive it helps a lot with knocking down the main body quickly.

They're a good class for tackling hard content, they're hardly a farm-only class. Sure, they won't be equaling an FPS 2H fighter in raw output, but that takes setup and can be disrupted. Stacking ATK gear and buffs (War Cry, HAITOS, etc.) and defence debuffs will still see them putting out a ton of damage on bosses just from the sheer number of hits and chances at sure hits. Utility-wise they also are the only class at the moment that can dispel boss buffs, and Illusory Mist can be stacked on top of DILTO and Blinding to drastically cut down the enemy chance to hit.
Both Rinne and Kiriha have pretty good class changes too if you round-trip them.

Standard way is farm your bondmate to 30 manually not through books. Do the bronze test, upgrade them to bronze grade. Kill gwo1 and 2. Asssemble a party of the same alignment with the bondmate, go to abyss 1 F7, fail to open a chest. Rest at the fountain. Pick the right speech choice. You typically only need to do this about 3-6 times max before getting heart unless your bondmate died too much during the level process even with the complete opposite alignment.

On their own? Nothing. Priest has a skill that increases attack very slightly based on piety(which is what divine is derived from) and samurai's damage calc is different where it takes like 70% of magic and attack instead of just attack.

I've swapped her to Thief.
Moment of Finality hits really hard with a +20 bow since it gets the higher attribute caps associated with 2H weapons - she can clear rows of regular mobs with it. Surety hits with the bow also do a lot of damage as well nowadays; you obviously are not putting out FPS damage, and if you inherit Follow-Up Attack you can get a double surety attack as well. She still has plenty of SP for other Ninja utility skills too and if you do want to invest in teaching her spells she's got an okay MP pool for miscellaneous cure-type spells.

Man, 1H axes and maces feel really worthless compared to. 1H Swords and 2H Anything.

Frontline priest is better off with a 1h wand + shield and defending for openings, then switching to a 2H hammer as needed to hit openings or clean up once there's fewer enemies on the field. Boosting ASPD on the priest helps a lot, to either defend or eliminate enemies to decrease incoming attacks. It's theoretically more efficient than just having the priest defend in the backline until needed - you can run something else in the backline spot the priest would otherwise be occupying (2nd mage, bow thief, kunai ninja) - you eliminate enemies faster and thus take less damage overall.
