The devs are just not very good at design.
Most kits aren't well designed, the roles aren't well designed or defined, healers heal too much which being too much of healbots, healers effecively only have big healing ults, an excessive amount of CC in the game, bad modes and maps, teamups are a bad idea, no perks/talents is a bad idea, non-sensical and bad balance changes, massively inflated dps pool compared to tank/healer, etc.

This. Which is why I don't understand the whole she's overpowered thing when she's been nerfed so hard she completely buckles under pressure in the poke meta. Her shield can barely even last a second, going diamond form and choking someone leads to standing still and leaving yourself open for free headshots. No it hits below, but it's line of sight based from the center, so walls and ledges can block it depending on your position.
The collision is literally a sphere.

In Unreal Engine there are fixed collision shapes which are all primitive shapes. To use any other shape you have to make and use a custom mesh specifically for it, which devs tend not to do unless absolutely necessary.
Marvel Rivals devs love Spheres and Cylinders, but there isn't any real consistency to it, which is probably because there is no design standards set.

at a higher level of play where everyone isn't giga retarded and has actual positional awareness and reactions, the extra 0.5s it takes to secure a kill because the shurikens do 20 less damage meaning you need to land an extra shot of m1 is more often than not enough time for them to run behind cover to hide from psylocke, and/or get healed by a healer to mitigate a kill in time. that's 0.5s extra time for a cloak to bubble, luna to clap, mantis to sleep, and so on. this makes a MASSIVE difference to anyone who isn't a bot and was a big nerf overall. to claim it was a nothingburger nerf is clearly outing yourself as a GM peak at most, but I supposed i shouldn't be expecting anything more from /mrg/.

I think I can confidently say this hero is extremely strong. Only my Storm (27.6 hours) has a higher win rate (61.6% WR). Once you master her charge ability the hero becomes comically broken. On maps with good environmental kill spots, I can get 5-7 a match. This hero exists purely just to make everyone's life miserable. I just had a match where I flew directly over a Hawkeyes head for 30s straight taunting him, and he missed every shot because aiming directly up is almost impossible.

Jeff and Psylocke both have the same problems with their ultimates.
Both can tag you even if you clearly weren't in it on your screen, the amount of times i've died to psylockes ult because its coded to hit you again if it RNGd you regardless of whether you got out just before a second hit or were 10 feet away is so dumb and i've seen the slash go way beyond where the ultimate is, its disengenous. For healers you go for isolated targets, attack them with M1 and maybe dragon's defence if they start attacking you to gain bonus hp and yat yee. If they drop below 100hp use kick to instantly kill them.
Similar deal when attacking ranged duelists.
Vanguards melt to Yat Yee at almost 200 dmg/s.
Flyers you mainly rely on M1. Maybe Dragon's Defence into Yat Yee if they fight back. Use kick for finish or to keep up if needed.
When attacking targets, try to jump when attacking to make yourself a more erratic and harder to hit target than in you were just using M1 on the ground.

Don't blow your load with Dragon's Defence and Kick too soon, you might need to use one of them defensively to escape.
