Writing those two Aubrey smut stories must have done something to my head because it reawakened my joy of writing, but I pretty much just feel like writing more smut and I have some resistance to the idea. Genuinely don't know what you're on about. Aubrey and Kel are a parallel to Heromari, that's a fact referenced in the game by Mari herself. Hero and Mari basically have the same personality/maturity level (both are perfect and mature beyond their years with domestic hobbies like cooking and baking for their little siblings) and they are the closest the game has to a canon main couple. That's another fact.

Kel and Aubrey are like that too. They are not identical personality-wise, but very similar to each other, like Hero and Mari. Like I said they are both impulsive and short-tempered, and kinda immature as kids, but they grow up into dependable older sibling figures (Kel is this to Sunny, Basil, and the emo bangs kid, Aubrey is an older sister figure to the hooligans) although not as perfect as Hero and Mari. In fact, I'd say Sunny not wasting away or committing suicide at any point in those four years shows she was at least trying.
