Since everyone is actually reading vn I will give my thoughts on dies irae
It is basically peak chuunige . The writing is over the top in the best way possible every fight is a mix of flowery monologues, ridiculous powers and sheer hype. The cast is stacked with larger-than-life characters, most of them insane but they’re written with enough depth that they stick with you long after.

The soundtrack is god tier. “Erinnerung,” “Dies irae,” “Ostjuden,” all of it feels like it should be blasting during the apocalypse. Even if you don’t like chuuni VNs, the OST alone makes it worth experiencing.

Story-wise it’s Nazis doing magic rituals to summon god, but under all the chuuni there’s actually a lot about human will, bonds, and the struggle against fate.

It’s not perfect the prose can get long-winded, the pacing drags in parts, and if you don’t buy into the chuuni aesthetic you’ll probably just roll your eyes. But if you do get into it , it’s pure kino.

Top tier chuuni VN, godlike OST, unforgettable characters.
