In all honest i kind of hate that in dead lock. I have 100 hours and so far I have yet to see a match where a comeback was possible. You get a soul lead and you can basically kickback, relax and just roam around fucking the other team because they will never coordinate enough to make it possible. It will just snowballs from there onwards. it is not uncommon to have a huge soul discrepancy during matches, even in competitive ones from what I can tell.

i think the problem is once a team gets a significant soul advantage there really just aren't any objectives that can help the losing team or that can even work as a distraction for the winning team. the only thing is the urn and in the year the game's been out it has literally only work to either get an early lead or as a literal win harder objective, even with the map advantage it's just too hard capture and if the enemy decides to engage you while you're delivering urn you WILL just lose not only the fight but the game, same as with the mid boss.
The only way I can see of fixing this would be with side objectives that don't give buffs or souls to the heroes but that still negatively impact the enemy team. I've seen someone suggest here that there should be an objective that disables lanes for a team until they capture it again or something like that, and honestly that sounds like a good idea. But outside of that I'm really not even sure what else you could add that wouldn't just be a stomp harder mechanic.

Dyanamo ults, you don't get to play. Kevlin ults, you don't get to play. Doornigger ults, you don't get to play.
