I fell for the battlefield 6 hype. First game I played was initiation breakthrough and I got ass raped harder than any lobby that Actiniggers SBMM algorithm has ever threw me in.
We were the attackers and got sniped by fucking bots in our spawn. Whenever we tried flanking we were getting blasted by shotguns and LMG campers. I played through the fucking campaign first. Hopefully Microsoft still refunds me.

All these make assault very good. the only thing that i think needs buffed is the injector. It should give 2 or 3 seconds of temporary health along with its other effects. Fits into the theme of the class using the injector before "breaching" a location (building, control point, etc). Right now, funny enough, assault is more of a "Specs op" class where you go behind enemy lines and flank. Rather than "front line" class, in my opinion. Right now support is arguably the best frontliner/assaulter.

That's all SMGs. They're meant to be low accuracy so you spam up close, but somehow the devs fucked up and gave them really good accuracy. So combine that with the low recoil they're meant to have and you can laser anyone from any distance. Rifles have to burst but SMGs can empty an entire mag and stay perfectly on target.

All variations of Empire State suck donkey dick on basically every mode, three trillion enterable storefronts and second floor apartments so you cant move without getting beamed down, enough prop clutter to make moving even as an infantry a pain in the ass in certain areas, cant spot anyone also due to aforementioned map clutter. There is no control over whether an enemy is just about to arrive at the objective you spawned at. You have no control over there might be some sniper niggers looking right at it. Shit like the E flag on Sinai is the perfect example of this. The only place that has the highest (not guaranteed) chance of not being immediately shot at is your teams spawn. But that doesn't matter anyway because most of the time you spawn on your squad which already has a high chance of being in the action.
EVERY BF spawn has a chance of you being fired at immediately, as well as it has a chance of being safe.

I really miss the slower and more tactical feel of the older games.
Before when you got off great flanks you could actually feel the impact of what you pulled off but now with how small everything is it doesn't matter because people are back on you in moments.

Only 51 more kills and I hit 1000 on the G3. Then I never have to use it again. I shouldnt have even decided to go for 1000 kills with it but I love the irl gun so I hoped to make it work, but the TTK is just too slow. I think anything under 700rpm is just doomed.

RPKM is genuinely one of the worst guns in the game. Spread so wide on full auto half your slow ass bullets won't even register. You will lose every single gunfight. You literally have to use it on semi auto as an even worse DMR and plink heads on unsuspecting targets for half the grind.

Once you unlock some decent attachments basically have to go all in on hip-fire accuracy and use it as retardedly heavy SMG and grind Cairo breakthrough peaking corners. Don't even think about taking ANY mid-range gunfight.

I like the rpk a lot for mid range fights. Get your control and precision up and don’t put on the grips that fuck up your aim down sight accuracy. You can play mid to long range and hose down people with it and reload quickly. It’s a good lmg the fire rate makes it very controllable if you tap fire and pop head shots

Genuinely I think the problem stems from so many different things that it's hard to pin it to just damage and health

I was watching some old clips I made from BF4 and compared to 6 it's amazing how much longer fights were, but so many occurred as 1v1s in large outdoor areas where we were both mobile enough to sprint and hop around cover to cover. None of that happens in BF6, or if it does you'll just get raped by another player.

The thing that keeps coming back into my mind with BF6 compared to older games is that there is no breathing room.

Yeah pretty much. I've played BF since 1942 and for whatever reasons, many games have had trouble replicating it and staying popular. Some have come close over the years. The closest things there are these days is probably Enlisted (WW2) and Delta Force (a worse BF). Both live service slop with p2w aspects and typical crap that comes with it. There's Arma, Squad, Hell Let Loose, and then that Squad version of WW2. But those are often more milsim/hardcore than people would like. So the cross over between the audiences isn't as great. Angels fall first is maybe another one, but im not sure how active that one is these days.

There was once a time during the golden age of gaming when there was a lot of games trying to compete with BF. The ones I remember most were Enemy Territory Quake Wars, Frontlines Fuel of War, and Massive Action Game.

Frontlines was like this near future version of BF. And they had a heavy focus on drones and usage of drones.

Enemy Territory Quake Wars was a Battlefield game in the Quake Wars universe. That one was arguably the most creative and fun imo. A lot of classes could place down emplacements that did special things. Like launch a massive missile strike, artillery, automated turret to cover an area, a shield to stop missile strikes/arty from hitting, etc. It created a lot of fun gameplay loops. The coolest thing was that the Covert(Recon) class had the ability to take on the "skin" of a killed enemy. So they would kill you, walk up to your corpse, and disguise themselves as you. Then they could sneak behind enemy lines and knife people. Enemies would be able to tell it was a "fake" you if they aimed at you and your name turned red. Then of course the person you killed would come looking for.

MAG was a battlefield like. And their main call to fame was they had 256 player battles. On console. I think it was ps2? Just massive battles. That was a fun one.

Regarding the P4F part, technically what you're describing is what they're supposedly planning to do with the upcoming BR mode. I'm curious to see if it's going to be successful in the long term and how they're going to split up their resources between the base game/future titles and the BR mode.

Multiplayer for bf7 will be easy as fuck, they CANNOT fuck it up, even with a barebones team. Just compile all the begging for boats/bigger maps/various bullshit and rerrange the current gadgets while mixing up the class balance (bring back dedicated medic class)
