In my test drive, a Danish director named Lars Von Queer came to Al-Amarja to shoot some messed up erotic horror movie. The LLM came up with the name itself. It was so hilarious I had to try playing. I've glanced at the scenario XML and it integrated with the system, gave some basic stats to characters, referenced factions and locations. It's fast-paced so far, but I'm just starting.
I wish the LLM could really roll the dice. I'd just copy the Mothership tabletop's spaceship generation model (rolling dice to generate parts of the ship) and use it to generate proper dungeons.
Even a seed mechanic would do wonders. Maybe it's possible to make the LLM read something from the {{user}}'s persona and use that as a seed?
Fucking shit technology. So near perfection, yet so far. And there's no real exchange of discoveries going on, just endless fucking around to find out. Everyone into botmaking has to invent his own wheel.

For most of them, I take the general character prompt and add the tags "chibi, big head" to the front and "full body, black outline, white background" to the back. After that it's a matter of removing the background and cleaning up the edges (I use paint.net for this).

This is also the first time I used the new character reference feature of NAI for the chibi. Helps a lot with consistency.

Little update: 187 messages deep in the randomly generated mission, works really well. Established factions of Al Amarja either want me (former merc from Africa) to sabotage Lars von Queer or make sure his movie gets made. The reasons why are obviously not explained to my character because why would they be? This isn't an action movie where the villains have to explain themselves. Currently I either have to mess up the production with an EMP bomb or simply do nothing and go through with the production. Really kino little adventure if you ask me.
I'm also fiddling with the macros, I've integrated them with the OTE's core lorebook, but I have no idea if GM is using them or lying to me and I don't know how to check if he's legit.
We'll see how the adventure plays out and if it has an ending. If it does, it means my little experiment from yesterday is on the right path and if not, well at least I'll know what doesn't work :-D

here's how it looks when in use. my party drives through the city, referencing the neighborhoods, going to the hotel in Flowers Barrio. If you look at my last screencap, you see the hotel is there.
Vectorized is some arcane way of processing entries. It doesn't rely on tags, but on context and content instead. Don't worry about it. It you want vectorized entries referenceable, you have to name drop them in the content: section. In normal WI entries, the AI relies on tags, in vectorized it relies on content. Vectorized are a bit harder to trigger in general, that's why my GM card keeps mentioning the rules, tables, mechanics, whatever in first message, description, whatever, it's because I really want him to start the convo by getting warmed up to play, immediately triggering vectorized entries. This is just as complicated as it sounds.
If you desperately need something loaded immediately, set the WI entry as constant instead of vectorized. Unless you seriously need it loaded at all times (like a very railroady scenario), you can set it to have cooldown of 100+ messages or something, depending on how relevant you want it to be. I usually only have character sheets and meta-scenario on constant.

Final update:
It worked really well, according to the hidden scenario and all. The only negative thing is that GM hasn't told me the adventure is finished before I asked him, but it made sense to conclude the way it did: with a big brawl in town bicycle's hotel room.
When I asked GM how did the adventure go, he said it went mostly according to the plan, but I never encountered one faction and that there wasn't a climactic final fight, but that's the way I played. I think it's perfectly fine that he didn't force me to play his way. He said I got one of the expected endings according to the faction I helped.
I had a blast and the adventure was comedy gold, with a rug pull ending where an Indian guy, think John Redcorn was in bed with the town bike, whom this big gorilla guy in a tight suit fancied. Lars lost his mind when his film got destroyed in EMP blast. That's a shame.

All in all, I had fun and that's the only thing that matters. This is why I do what I do. The little pregen scenario experiment might be the way to go. More testing needs to be done. Thanks for reading my blog and good night.
