There are usually a lot of events though so if you're consistent playing a bit every day and doing the events you can get a lot of free resources. I left a negative review on steam but I'll be the first to say don't listen to the reviews saying f2p is bad. This game gives you a LOT for free.

Honestly, crest and mode and rune probably look nail biting in tourneys, but in ranked they appear as a grinder with a free burn, hand check and sudden death. While fighting dragon feels like gambling, because of how many divine draws they need.

the hardest part is to get started, for new players but even them have the prebuilt decks that give you like 60% of the cards you need to make a playable unoptimized deck, not the biggest deal as 95% of the people you face at beginner 1 will have decks just as bad a experience similar to when we all started, you make the deck that the starting packs guide you towards.
