But yeah, the grind in BF6, specifically for weapon leveling, is absolutely atrocious. Right now, I am leveling up the M277, and while it is a very solid carbine, I honestly do not want to use anything else when I get the M277 to Mastery 50 since I know it is going to once again be a slog. DICE needs to re-work weapon leveling from the ground up. I truly believe that the weapon leveling will kill this game. Just bring back the style of weapon leveling from 2042 were you just needed--on average--360 kills to fully unlock all attachments for a weapon. If you want to get the Mastery 50 camo, then you would need 640 extra kills, a total of 1,000 kills per weapon to get Mastery 50 and all attachments. But nope, DICE just has to combine weapon leveling with xp, and the ONLY exp that matters for weapon leveling is kill xp or assist xp; if you have the gun in your hands and you capture an objective, you get no xp for it.

Bad Company 2's Rush, while fun, was really unbalanced. I REALLY hate how most of the maps the MCOM was inside a building that could be leveled, instantly destroying said MCOM. Loving the game so far, and I understand that I'm mentally comparing it to a final state of other titles, but man this map rotation is ultra mega ass compared to BF1, BF3, BF4

Everything I've had issues with in regards to map design since BF1 is still here but somehow even worse. I don't know how else to explain it, but before BF1 it felt like maps were truly OPEN and you could go anywhere and capture objectives behind the frontline and catch the enemy by surprise that way. Nowadays the maps feel linear, there is 1 front line, end of story, there is no going around on a boat/car to objective D that isn't even being contested just to force a couple of respawns there, or force the enemy to fall back a bit

I hope (but doubt) that map design will improve in the upcoming updates, otherwise this great game will just keep being dragged down by the most abysmal map design the franchise ever had

Not just XP and currency boosters, but for example, one that doubled the explosion radius of grenades... while reducing the normal radius of grenades by half for all players. As much as I loved Battlefield Hardline, I really hated the weapon license shit in that game. As a refresher, certain weapons were locked to a faction. For example, the M16A3 could only be used by the Police and the M416 could only be used by the Criminals. If you wanted to use it for both sides, you needed to get 1,250 kills with the weapon and purchase the weapon license for $250,000 in-game currency. This was for all weapons no matter if they were primaries or secondaries (yes, 1,250 kills with a pistol). I honestly have no idea why EA will pander so much to the CoD cattle when concerning vehicles. In less than a month, the new Call of Duty--which I would have bought if I still played Black Ops 3 as religiously as I did back in the day--will be coming out. Furthermore, I am a firm believer that the Battle Royale for Battlefield 6 WILL FAIL. CoD Warzone already has a "casual mode" that has most players go up against actual bot AI and they CAN farm weapon xp, weapon camo challenges, and the like.

I still haven't found an AR I like yet. SMGs I'm liking the MP7 and P90, carbines I'm loving the AK-74, LMGs I don't really care about because they're not practical for most gameplay styles. ARs though, I've tried the first 4 but they all kinda suck. The one I liked the most was the SCAR because you unlock the 40 rnd mag and silencer early on but the damage and recoil kinda sucks.
