The next VGL is fast approaching and will start on at the end of November.
That means it is now time to start taking suggestions for the VGL team roster poll. Last VGL was our most successful as KANAMI, the gachakiller, and the King lead us to a 3rd place finish (our previous best was 4th in VGL18 back in 2022).

Our team has 23 roster spots. The top 2 players are gold player with 99 in all stats. We then have three silver players with 88 in all stats. The remaining 18 players, including a single goalkeeper (Kekblis), have 77 in all stats. The attached image has the current VGL24 team with stats correct til the end of VGL24.


For our team we have 20 spots allocated for Rance series/characters and 3 spots allocated for Alicesoft's other games.
Currently the three non Rance players are I Want To Rape This Little Shit (Tsuina/Dohna Dohna), Secret Edgy Rape Club (Captain Vanilla/Galzoo) and One Cum Man (Baron Squid/Galzoo).

Anyway until Sunday next week I will take roster poll suggestions. Fill free to suggest anyone you like, you don't have to come up with a meme name though it is ideal.
You can also suggest new names for characters already on the team.

If you're asking why i like it, it is for the same reason i like Rance, TLS is a somewhat good RPG that has sex but doesn't go into nukige territory and it also tries stuff that most RPG maker games don't, for example trash mobs don't respawn, so there's no grind. Rance 10 released in 2018 and made the series more popular (before 10 this franchise was way less popular)

I think you can create a separate .afa file with your modified .flat and then add it into the game via the pictured code, and the modified file will override the original.

If you want to modify the original .afa file then you have to repack the whole thing. You should be able to use a #BATCHPACK manifest though, which is only a couple lines. E.g.

Well it's Sunday, and only a couple of hours away from being Sunday in Greenwich so its time for the roster poll.
If you look at the attached image - these are all the player options for the poll. You may want to figure out who you want on the team before voting.

The first question of the roster poll is required. Thirty Rance series players competing for 20 spots on the team. The 20 most popular players will make the roster and in this section you vote for the 20 players you want on the team.
VGL rosters have a 5 medal system which involve 2 Gold (99 base stat), 3 Silver (88 base stat) who have elevated stats compared to the rest of the team (77 base stat). Our current medals are Rance, Kanami, Shizuka, Rick and Maris. We also run a single goalkeeper who is Kekblis. The top 6 players will be the 5 medals and the keeper. If none of the top 6 are thematically suited to keeping and the 7th or 8th player is they will be keeper. The team captain will be the medal or keeper who is best suited for Captaincy (AKA Rance).

The second question of the roster poll is also required. As a general we previously decided to allocate 3 roster spots to Alicesoft's other games and series. This is to select those 3 roster spots. So vote for the 3 (out of 6) players you want on the team.

The third question of the roster poll is also required but will fortunately be quick. It is to choose Satella's name. Either Cock Connoisseur or *Orgasms*.

The final question of the roster poll is completely optional and can be skipped. It is there only for stats autism.

Just finished Rance 02..and boy what a ride, I don't think I played a JRPG that was so darn boring and "raw" like that, the plot was alright, there were some fun bants and the nods for the og game were kinda cool. But it felt like they were cutting cornes in almost all chunks of the game, heck, even the CGs felt incomplete and too.."static". Found them to be too lackluster with a few outliers here and there (Ralga and Milii cgs made me hard..)
Is this the worst game of the franchise, or can I expect some dogshit gameplay in the more older titles still? (Rance 4 and the .1 games)
