How to get freaks in the 4clan cc muted: A comprehensive guide.

Preamble
4clan has a logger running in the clan chat at all times. Everything anyone says is recorded and is viewable from their discord server at any time. When someone gets muted, sometimes there will be messages in the report log with the name starred out. These messages are messages that were made by the reporter (This could be you!!!). By cross referencing these report logs with the chat logs from their discord, they can figure out who the reporter was, and ban them. Getting banned is pretty inconvenient, so this guide is based on getting around this as much as possible.

Step 1: Guest in the cc, or better yet, join the cc as a full fledged member
Step 2: If you're going to be reporting this session, do not say anything no matter what, unless....
Step 3: If you are directly addressed, respond. You can say anything, it doesn't matter. If you don't they will ban you (even though you could literally just be afk taking a dump). You have now spoken in the chat so you must not report anyone for the next hour or so or else your messages will appear in the report log and you will be caught.
Step 4: Someone said a no-no! Report them for offensive language, and then unless you're confident someone else is going to say a no-no word too you should just leave the cc for a while if you are a guest to conceal your tracks.
NOTE: Choose your targets! If its just a low level account it probably isn't worth reporting them and having to leave. Who you really want are the juicy high level mains who do raids.

To reduce suspicion, you can talk sometimes. Just don't report anyone for a good while before or after you do that. If you are directly addressed you have to speak anyway, so this is a good opportunity to talk a lot and reduce the suspicion. If you really don't have anything to say to these freaks (who can blame you!) just post about poop or something, you will fit in.

Nah you just Khopesh spec absolutely everything but Jad, it usually oneshots everything besides the mages (which are killed in 4 ticks instead of 2), and you get more than enough spec regen to keep that up forever.
Tbow is much slower and only needs to be used on jads + Zuk.

You can also just instakill the nibblers with any barrage spell. Khopesh's aoe is kind of funky on moving targets, and waiting for them to get to the pillar first is obviously slower, but really it barely matters.

In my run, I deliberately left the nibblers for last, so they'd eventually whittle down the pillars on the earlier waves, and once they're all gone, they'll just run straight at you. It's not like you need the pillars for safespotting anything.

I've played on and off for many years on multiple accounts, just wasting time really, and somehow the peak of my pvm or questing experience topped out at mm1 and barrows. I'm thinking about playing again. Would it be a bad idea to try to go all in on an ironman with this in mind, given that I have other responsibilities and hobbies now? I tried it before and I enjoyed it but just did a bunch of skilling and early quests, obviously didn't experience much of the game at all or any actual mid-late game aspects, and rarely any combat. Playing a non-ironman tends to devolve into you just farming the same things for gold, which I think is very lame. Ironman entails actually experiencing nearly everything in the game, really broadens it out. There's no going back to a main for me.
But yeah the downside is that it will take longer to actually reach the lategame as an iron, because you can't just buy required items from the GE, you need to get them. It's up to you whether that appeals to you.

But that said, I think it's near universally agreed that the midgame is by far the funnest part of OSRS, and for ironman the midgame can unironically be thousands of hours. So you spend most of your time at the best part of the game.
And the early game is easier to get through nowadays, plus they added content like Scurrius to give actual earlygame PvM encounters that aren't shit.

It really does only apply much, much later. The midgame food meta for irons is to buy cheese potatoes from the Warrior's Guild, they're so cheap that they're basically free and you could get thousands an hour if you wanted (they heal for 16, which isn't that far off the best food and is perfectly fine for most content).
Beyond that the sole concern for supplies was prayer potions, but they added an alternative to farming those with Moonlit Moths (a hunter creature that basically gives you pseduo-prayer potions).

I'd say so. A Fang for instance could be earned from a day of farming gold, or probably 100+ hours of raiding hoping for a lucky drop.
The Noxious Halberd is an incredibly strong (and fun) melee weapon, you could either farm for 15 hours to buy one, or grind one of the highest Slayer level bosses in the game for ~50 hours. It's just that over and over, everything is 2-5x slower to manually acquire

If your time is finite especially, you'll resort to just gold farming to get things. The journey really is funner than the destination, which is what makes Iron so appealing, it's nearly all the journey.

my last account was a main and eventually it did devolve to just doing whatever is best money
i started an iron couple months back and it's honestly a lot more fun to actually have to try everything
there are pieces of content that i would never touch as a main but as an iron there is a reason to do them

I like lurking generals for games I play so every so often I check whether or not this thread is still infested. Once it becomes usable I'll leave tutorial island.

The goggles are huge, saves a LOT of time gathering some of the more aids secondaries (eg wines of zamorak). 11% less secondaries needed, forever.
The amulet is a slim difference like you said, I never bothered with crafting related jewellery, and a lot of people just hate the potion storage (clunky to use). And lastly the chugging barrel is just for lazy mains and has niche UIM usage.
