Started happening to me after the servers crashed a few days ago. It's completely random. But essentially all the enemies stop taking damage and none of my skills activate.
Then the game pauses, the game goes to a loading screen, then drops me back where I was but with auto turned off.

The expensive one gives nothing, 150k unbound luno and 5 focus potions. Basicly 300k unbound luno.
If you want to burn bound orbs the refresh in the mystery shop is worth a lot but you'll 100% be burning more than your daily income of bounds at that point.

Rare enough that it's arguably better to farm bosses based on the material and treat a will drop as bonus fragments. You're going to likely buy your wills with money from selling focus items or by buying them with fragments. Getting your desired one from the gacha is rare. Only roll on the gacha if you need Tina or are trying to get a lot of purple fragments for something like muku scout who isn't available yet. The bound rose orbs should be saved for the materials.
