They already started designing the T-80 to replace it with a new engine but the decision was already made to switch to the T-72 as a competitor design. When they say over time they mean it happens in around a week of real time and it has to be in your current line up for it to be that fast, otherwise it can and will take even longer.

Have 4 and your matches are guaranteed wins. Only stoppable if every other team member is a prem 1 DL:er, but even then sometimes just the 4 of you are able to hold out depending on the match. Has happened to me plenty of times where I play with 4 EuropeanGODS and we win the match as only players left on the team.

Top "Squadron Activity" bar shows how many points your entire squadron is accumulating out of a maximum of 46,080 (360 points *128 members). It actually caps at 20,000 points - i.e. 43% of the maximum a squadron could potentially grind, and that's the max personal reward in SRP. So as long as squadron activity is 43% or higher, you should be able to get 20k points depending on your own personal activity.
"Personal Activity" just shows what percentage of the 360 points you have grinded yourself. The gray part is the percentage of 360 you have actually done, while the yellow part shows how little you actually need to grind to receive the 20k SRP, based on how many total points your squadron grinded in the top bar.
