Honestly, I don't hate the story. Reading it right now, and for a Chinese gacha, these are some of the shortest lines I have ever read. The conversations actually flow between characters, something I wasn't actually expecting. Not only that, but I think they've actually done a good job on not relying on gimmicks for characters so far. It's actually a pleasant read overall.
