IIRC even then they have to aim for the weaker parts of the turret and if they try to lolpen the cheeks the armour will eat it. I'm fairly confident that the cheeks are strong enough to defeat virtually all rounds it can possibly face up to 10.0, I play it quite a lot and even in full uptiers the only spots I get commonly hit through are the commanders sights and the gap where the gun is (and most of the time when that happens the breech protects the crew).

abrams still gets lolpenned by autocannons from the front, neither leopards nor rusniggers suffer from this, the m1 is basically a fat light tank because of the unrealistic turret neck weakspot
