Just installed RJW and almost all 1.6 addons so I plan to do a lot of the second part.

Is there a 1.6 compatible mod that lets me extend the years, I want longer years to be able to enjoy my female pawns in their prime for longer, but also to make winter a bigger challenge.

Don't know, I installed everything, let rimsort auto sort it, and started a colony, no errors on start up, I used Character Edit to lower the sex need of a pawn and set up a comfort slave, animations played out and that was the end of my test run.

Take 2 on the costs of my WIP mod. "AC" = "advanced component".

Three things to note:
1. I'm planning to gate this after the Odyssey ending. I still don't know how, but I do.
2. I'll consider the prices as "balanced" if you'd rather avoid crafting those things, except as a last case scenario.
3. I'm listing vano cells and gravcores twice because they require unstable power cells; the value with a single asterisk is for the items when the unstable cells are already done, the one with two asterisks for when you're going to craft them from the scratch.

Frankly I feel like I'm spamming advanced components and plasteel, so I'd like some feedback on that.

I could see myself for example crafting a few nano chips, after the ending, just to deal with toxic wastepacks. A second mechanitor is useful and the vanilla quest is unreliable. And unstable power cells are something I already farm through the quests, you can't go wrong with more electricity.

You should put some walls between the sandbags to raise the defense.
Also, the outer barricade only helps to protect the sandbags, it doesn't protect the pawn.

You can create bionic limbs, create some germs that modify your body to get wacky apendagss or weird ablites, you can return from the death, but you can't make a fucking finger.

Both for 1.5 but the author of the first one claims it should work for 1.6, however it does not let you set the age multiplier to less than 1 to slow down aging speed.

The second one does though, down to 0.5, and looking at the code, it seems to be overriding the same functions as the first one, so if that one works in 1.6, this one should too.

However the author of the first one mentioned he did not want to support decimals in the multiplier because he would need to do some math, I did look at the code and found nothing to back that up though, all the mod does is override a functions that returns how many biological ticks per tick actually passed, and those numbers are floats, so I'll try the second one and hope for the best.

That's the thing, the cell is completely safe and poses no risk. It's something you can place and forget and nothing can ever get in its way. It has no upkeep, it's immune to practically any event, it's not harmful, you can uninstall it, and it doesn't explode violently when damaged. It's something that goes against Tynan's masochistic tendencies, that's why he makes it very rare or needs you to fight through things to get gravcores (to make gravcore power cells, which are broken as shit because what's not overpowered in Odyssey?). Once you have a few power becomes an irrelevant game mechanic. How busted it is still depends on your modding environment though, because some mods add buildings with absolutely stupid power consumption like 20000W to just turn on

For Kiiros, should I go with their unique stealth equipment (once I manage to properly grow devilstrand since all their apparel needs it).
After surviving so many raids with near zero casualties (the only one I cared who died was my first Giver who is stored in a sacrophagus in the freezer), I am starting to get so much wealth that the big colony ending raid is coming close.
My 25 Kiiros (2 are merchants and 4 of them are temporary refugees) are capable of defeating siege raiders of around 50 wasters, but this is not going to be viable in the long term. Defeating around half is enough to make them escape, but mechs are going to fight until the last machine and my Kiiros are not very good against them.

The set that focuses on dodging isn't consistent enough to be worth it over the other one but it's fun, both sets allow invisibility in darkness or smoke
IIRC Kiiro endgame weaponry focuses more on long range constant DPS than high damage, so they're really good at kiting. The prototype rifle has about assault rifle DPS with sniper rifle range and their unique sniper rifle will do lethal shots if the wielder has high shooting

You might be confusing Fallout changing drug names with Australia banning Rimworld for a bit by giving it a "Refused Classification" rating, also over drugs. You are basically banned from depicting drugs as good, moral, as powerups, etc. It got overturned when it was pointed out to the old farts in the ratings board that the drugs had short bonuses but realistic and severe downsides like addictions, overdoses, organ damage and so on.

I'm having problems with using actions on pawns with way too many abilities - psycasts, mechanoid groups, release animals, sidearms, CE buttons like ammo and fire mode and target head/torso/legs, modded abilities, etc... Quality is basically worthless on things like tables (does the beauty stat of a table ever matter?), it's okay on chairs, but you already hit max comfort with excellent armchairs and then there's fucking beds that give you better rest effectiveness (less sleep / more working hours), better surgery chance and higher immunity gain speed all at once.
