I agree with Bronya's philosophy. Physics is amazing.

And Mei is the type to run to teachers for help, not sort the fight out herself. But I guess these specific scenarios target both Kiana and Mei's weak areas and can help them take a stand or improve themselves. Mei always wanted to be a teacher, so learning to maintain discipline in class is good for her.

That's because they want to shove Elysia down our throats 24/7 regardless of anything else. We had dream events where Kiana meets Elysia, countless Golden Courtyard events and reruns, it would've happened anyway. Even Senadina is another Elysia clone.

A far superior alternative. Now we can continue the storyline rather than spend it wading around through them. Imagine how bad the pacing would be if we had to do more areas at the speed before. We'd be even worse than ER, we'd be Amphoreus levels of bad pacing.

They seem to keep her as she is. I recently played ER chapter 1 and the new Elysia is just that. Nothing new, no change. And that's why I find her disappointing. A little development is always good and adds on to your appeal.

That's one of the biggest problems I have with Elysia and how Mihoyo tends to push a character. They rarely give them huge arcs full of character development but instead just have characters shill them or them being portrayed as perfect, tough, or dignified even when showing weakness can be a stepping stone to character development. I would've liked Elysia more if we saw her younger and inexperienced years leading into where she is now. And experienced characters can easily have weaknesses and character development too. Hua's got tons of years of experience, arguably more than Kevin because though she joined later than Kevin, Kevin's been in the Sea of Quanta for 500 years while Hua's active during that time. And she gets character development over all her flaws and insecurities over past failures.

I would have more interest in the story of these events if it had Part 2 characters rather than the Flame Chasers. At least we'd get a new flavor and not the same rehashed "Oh Elysia is so wonderful!" shit we've had a thousand times over including the very previous event.

the special test is hard, especially the double ai chan and their cabbage attack
not sure if this affects anyone else but i can't tell what attacks they're generally going to do which makes it hard to dodge (plus low base move speed)

If you play Himeko it doesn't matter much since her lifesteal makes it pretty hard to die. Getting a level or 2 in movement speed is also pretty good, especially for Himeko and Kebin since they have a shorter range.
