It's HAPPENING... the 2nd route of Angel Beats! 2nd Beat will be out soon... Her story is super special... because Maeda-sensei have self-inserted himself into her past and making her the POV of the people around him... he wrote himself as the artist who was with her, and who needed perma care from the people around him, or he would kill him self... we saw her painful past with all of that... how will her story conclude? I know this route will show her falling in love with Ruka's talent and wanting her to be her vocalist... just like with what happened with Iwasawa... but will this be enough to save her... we still didn't see how she died... could Maeda-sensei hit us with another Yui route here and show us a 2nd part of her backstory, just like what he did with Hinata?AKA the best writing I have ever read in my life and the OG source of my ">/vn/ family" posts? I've been rewatching the Clannad anime lately after going through all 11 (eleven) routes of the VN and wow they really compressed that shit. Several minute long conversations get cut down into a few lines spoken in less than a minute and events that are supposed to happen days apart (and take hours to reach) all happen within minutes of each other and seemingly in the same day. Crazy what being compressed into a single season of anime does to a 76 hour VN. Least it has the dango song.

Well, you'd hate the anime then. It goes real fucking fast. I'm just a few episodes in, but we've already gone through otherwise emotional scenes that get hours of build up/foreshadowing and only happen after you've done enough random SoL with the characters to get invested like, 40 minutes in. And most of those 40 minutes were dedicated to introducing the many cast members instead of making you invested. You'd want the VN, as it loves to take its fucking time with plenty of long conversations and random convos every single day. A long conversation with dozens of lines of dialogue in the VN gets cut down just a few lines and happens real quick in the anime. (If it even happens at all)
