I think people should stop expecting them to add a fuck ton of content in updates. Since launch outside of collabs and limited time festival stuff they've only added like 3 new monsters and like 3 new versions of monsters already in the game on day 1. Other than that they added the charm system. I believe that's about it. So really what you have on day 1 with these games is really what you have until the expansion

I'm using the Artian thunder bow. I'm assuming the coating depends on the pieces, I chose all attack pieces so only have power. I'm guessing if I put affinity or something else it'd have given me other coatings.

Lagi probably is better but I want 3 jewels for spreadshot, thunder 3+crit elem 1, forceshot.

One of the special skills of Lagi is convert thunder element which adds to my thunder resistance, except Omega doesn't deal thunder damage so it's a wasted skill. It seems kind of stupid for a weapon to give you resistance against the same element as it's damage type. If I'm fighting something weak to thunder I want a thunder weapon, why the fuck would I want thunder resistance if chances are it's probably not going to have that element if it's weak to it? Pretty useless skill imo. I can't think of a single monster that deals the same damage type as it's weak against aside from maybe Arkveld or Zoh Shia.

It's kind of sad that the idea of the monhun wiki has died. Such an important pillar of the monhun experience and now there's just no need for it because of in game info. I mean of course people keep making monhun wikis for the new games but they're total dogshit compared to old wikis so they're not worth using.

AT in general isn't hard.
Uth is bane for gunners because all it does is high damage physical. Still, everything it does is also blockable and no multihits aside from a single move that will never hit you realistically unless point blank. Just equip Mirewalker on slower weapons. LS, Bow and DB can ignore the wave mechanic.
Rey is interesting to fight but a shame it is the first AT before difficulty adjustment, so it is hardly different from regular rey and also being the most hunted AT doesn't help. Basically more landmines, easily avoided if you dodge to left or right. The instant aerial railgun can be hard to react to but the damage is too low to be a threat.

technically if you expect the monster to go to sleep the mog of ages is the highest damage wakeup hit for everything except GS probably but you have to wait for the long animations of the previous picto spells first

AT Nu Udra has an almost guaranteed sleep when it does its first zone transition though
