They have simulacrum without standing grind to unlock. It can be accessed from your sanctuary (orbiter) directly. It also lets you test against enemies without a scanning mini-game and you can pick any level of enemy you want. There's some other stuff that's probably not viable for DE to do due to the scope of it. But most of the things they should probably copy will be things people have been saying they should do for years anyway. Omni formas was an idea people proposed under various names before TFD even existed.

So I looked it up and apparently Scott was a on podcast (interview?) and when asked about any ball aches with the game he was butthurt about youtubers using simulacrum. It was incredibly retarded logic about how it didn't show the game off well and it did a "disservice to the artists" of warframe just because someone was showing builds and numbers in simulacrum. Literally the dumbest shit I've ever heard. It makes even less sense when you consider that you can barely even see what's happening in actual warframe gameplay between all the visual effects and poor UI. Level up your command intrinsics to level 5 so you can get enlist three crew members.
They'll do stuff like repair the hull, use forward artillery, and fight off intruders while you pilot the ship.
You get crew members from Ticker in Fortuna once you get your intrinsict to level 1.
Trust me, crew memebers make shit way easier.
As for actually making your Railjack stronger, you just gotta brute-force missions until you get some decent mods.
