Yeah I'm not saying Susie is the self-insert but she's the most player-adjacent character that we relate to. We're initially meant to think Kris was the everyman whom we see the story though but it's clear now that they're actually an antagonistic force that knows more than they let on. It's Susie's story because she's the one who was thrown in the middle of the situation with no prior connection to the narrative along side the player. I'd imagine she'd be quick to ally with a pacifist-aligned player if she found out about us.

FRIENDstocks have been going up with Chapter 3 meanwhile Seam got like 2 new lines. I'm sure they'll be important because they seem to have Shadow Crystal holder-level knowledge without any of the insanity, but it's a slow burn type thing. Managed to hit a flow state and worked for like 2-3 hours redoing how "activities" work, plus the stats, plus some other stuff.
Stats are now more of a background thing than something that "matters" to the player. All it should be doing is influencing what she tries to do.
