I'm fine with having a darker story, or any kind of rewrite to the story. It feels so inconsequential at all times, like the blandest weekly shonen show ever made.
I don't care about the Owen shit, but MC was really sidelined and made a bumbling buffoon at all times, like trying to engage in combat yourself when you're a tactician with almost no combat prowess is just insane. You're not there to be the hero, you're there to get everyone to safety and call the shots, and you should be the most important part of the story because that's where your character can shine, not in the battlefield trying to wrestle with an armed combatant that can clearly kill you easily.

Overall I feel ok with this changes if they happen, my only hope is that they don't overcorrect too much and make every character lick your balls every 10 seconds, or that it starts to heavily pander to coomers like GFL2 or BD2.

Did they said anything about the unholy amounts of AI work tho? That's what interests me the most, to see if they're using it just as placeholders for real art later or if they're gona keep it like this.

For you, you also need a strong epiphany anchor. Or you need vulture and other epiphanies on Khalipe that give her silver fast to spam her strong aoe.
