I'm pretty sure that leveling the exact set of lvl.70 units required for the leveling mats commissions (4 vanguards, 3 supports, 2 versatile, ideally with the necessary bonus traits, but that's optional) is more important than leveling your elemental shit early on.

It's a run of the mill Chitose/Iris/Teresa build. I have all of Iris' Support Skill buffs maxed out, but only 3 on Cheetos' Dance of Elegance and Teresa's Let Me Help. I will say, my Chitose is T4, but that isn't a huge deal; she only gets 20% ATK and 20% Aqua damage from her effective dupes.

I can't be bothered re-rolling for something I don't care about, and this game is definitely a "roll who you like" game.

Gameplay is 0/10. Too many issues to be worth caring about:
-Mono element forced, which is terrible for team building or interesting synergy, and even more terrible for a new game, and once again more terrible with the chinese gacha system of little to no spooks.
Honestly, what a fucking dumb idea this was.
-pure RNG when it comes to creating "records". A roguelite mode should be fun and make your chars broken with a cool build, but this is too streamlined for that to ever happen, instead you just need to throw yourself at this mode until you have what's intended. Couldn't be more boring.
-Extremely high resource requirements to build characters. Why bother pull shit when you can't raise your shit anyways. This hitting so early makes me fear the usually problematic last ascension and 10 levels.


In short, no point in caring about it. Music is varied and nice, some of the background art is literal porn. Cute girls (especially Maou chan). That's the reason to play. Story could really be better at hooking you though, and lacks coherence. (aka how the heck did we get to the event story)

This isn't Genshin 0.6% rates though, it's 2% rates with a 50% chance of hitting rate up, essentially you have a 50% chance of getting spooked any time you get a 5* before hitting spark, which is likely. The alternative would be recommending FGO rates where you have a 1% chance for a 5* but only 0.3% for the rate up and who the fuck wants that?

A lot of people forget that the first 3-4 months of Dragalia had crazy good revenue thanks to the Nintendo bonus and FEH players getting bored of their game. Eventually the Nintendo bonus ended up turning into a demerit, and sales dropped incredibly fast, but the first bad sale of Dragalia were it really flopped hard was their summer event, which had the first lowest revenue monthly ever with only 3 million in revenue.

I'm not angry. This is just my (possibly a bit brutal) observation. This is a completely typical chinese style gacha with too many restrictions for team building (which is double bad because everything is limited) and anti fun mechanics in the roguelite, because they took that as a way to "build" your characters.
If you play for example ZZZ you can do all kinds of shit in the weekly roguelite run, including playing characters on field that you should never do outside of it, and it works because the roguelite plays by different rules and you can get abilities and buffs that help chars do things they are normally not intended to do. (think of something like "support skills" actually triggering when on field, to talk in this game's terms) And you can get some truly ludicrous builds that absolutely FUCK, again something you will never get here because the entire game is balanced around it, and build variety is non existent.

They can't really make it better either, unless they separate the mode from the rest of the game. It's also unlikely that future chars get more varied builds, doubly so with the way the elemental system works so few combos exist to begin with. Too many options = harder to balance.. though it's funny they apparently already fucked up in this department with the second character released. A bug/unintended it may be.


Long story short, I'm just chilling. I have every single pull but standard stuff saved up and wait till something releases I like. Maybe it'll improve, maybe not.

I'm having problems with Amber's auto attack targeting system because she focuses on the nearest mobs instead of elites or bosses which made me ran out of time and fail the cataclysm.
I can do it by sticking near the boss but the boss has a phase where unleashes AoE slashes and if I get near it, I get massive damage from those AoE slashes and dies from two hits.
