The 1st wave of floor 130 squids actually have the buff that makes them immune to either melee or ranged damage. So you have to either bring a mix attacker or equip something that wipes enemy buffs like Hebiko, Choirs Phantasma (coming later this month :^) or trial supporter Sora to defeat them.

Penetration:
Ignores damage reduction.
Say the enemy has a 50% damage reduction and you have 10% penetration

It reduces their damage reduction by 10%, so they'll functionally have a total of 45% damage reduction.
So your 100,000 attack would do 55,000 damage instead of just 50,000 damage.

Sounds a little but bosses in VR scale a LOT, like 90%+ damage reduction by floor 150, so a bit of penetration does a lot.

Most enemies in the game, tower and event, however have bloated HP instead so it's more niche and geared towards endgame content.

The training dummy has 50% damage reduction for reference and he has more damage reduction than TW black or a base VR boss at floor 100 (not counting parameters).

Kemurikusa gives you big boy dps and a really good weapon skill. But paid weapon have guarantee crit on shattering blow which is great for burst damage.

Crit pipe or rebellion also works fine but she pretty much needs combo skill.

Lots of people use Ragnarok with green supporters, with Snow Storm and Frosty Gale skills. Gale isn't a green skill but it's an easy ranged freeze, and combined with Snow Storm you can permafreeze enemies.
She's so strong that you can get away with using a lot of supporters I think.

Do the squids in each of the waves they appear in during floor 130 of the tower all have the dumb invincible gimmick or is it only the opening wave? Also this is the first time I've made use of weapon switching during combat since I have anti demon and anti human magatamas and swap based on the types I'm fighting. For Rs just recycle them for bells and fluids.
For SR suporters and weapons feed them with the thing that improve the chances at UR if you have it.
For UR weapons check the exchange list, there are some characters like Sora and Felicia that have really good non-limited outcomes where you can just feed it 3 trash URs with 5 medals and get a 1/3 chance of getting the good one. And if you don't you get one trash for the next try. For supporters you can feed extra copies of bad ones until you have one of each outcome.

Astaroth-sama hard carried me through these Arena Tower floors, as always. At first I tried swapping her for Sora but then I realized the foolishness of my ways. Honestly, floor 130 wasn't even the hardest for me. Sure it took me almost 5 mins to beat (and Floor 129 might have taken the same or longer) but if you factor in the retries for the other floors it wasn't even close.

I have full sets of racist UR demon and human magatamas but for machines it's 3/4 UR Machine and an unperfect SR anti-boss.

As you can see, there are some parts that could be improved or exchanged before I tackled the challenges. Some floors were still very painful, as I mentioned but maybe often because of my carelessness. Hellblaze is cool but you need to make sure enemies don't just punch you as you cast it and even after you cast it they might tank it to attack you so dodge.

Oboro is not a hard hitter but she's definetly servicable when it comes to damage. She specializes more in being very safe given her debuffs flat out paralyze the enemy and her renewal weapon heals her. Penetration also means you will hit endgame bosses harder than other charactes.

She's excellent when punching up in modes like VR since she can get away enabling a team far past what they should normally be able to if you control her yourself and optimize her mind control

The first wave spawns. Demon ninjas, robo spiders, demon bears... Ragnarok wipes them out easily.
Now the second wave. Oboro and Ingrid, along with another huge multiracial mob, spawn. They too fall to Ragnarok.
The third wave. This time, the Masked Taimanin, LWS Squad, and Queen Arachnea, and yet another huge mob. Intense, but Ragnarok defeats them.
The fourth wave appears. Archon Edwin Black, and Asagi, Sakura, and Shiranui, all in their Demon form, spawn in, alongside a massive army. Challenging as it is, Ragnarok wipes them all out.
