The "roguelite" part of this game is extremely ass, for how much they tried to put this into the center.
And I still say: Putting it into the center was a huge mistake. This way the biggest appeal of the genre, becoming a GOD, isn't possible. If you could break the roguelite mode, you'd break the rest of the game as well.
Having a real survivor mode would definitely help the game, but they'd need to completely redo everything for that, as the current way the roguelite works.. isn't compatible.

I dare say there's a reason why almost every gacha tries their hand at a mode like this, but they don't want to make it THE main mode. Some things should simply not be balanced, otherwise they end up boring. Be it Slay the Spire, Hades and whatnot, if your best optimal run is just.. intended and okay. What even is the point?


This is a fundamental issue of this game though, nothing to do with the event. This event largely exists to throw a huge amount of resources at us, and had a nice little story. I don't mind.

Yostar really should take a cue from Nexon here and make it clear somewhere what the current cutoffs are instead of potentially getting bamboozled out of your top 10% the last day with no warning
I just threw out 12000 because I peeked at the Discord yesterday and some autist there made a minimum score account that was at like 110000 a day ago, so the cutoff would be 11000 at the time.

Event story and music were good but the gameplay was a whole lot of nothing, all that waiting for the hard stages to unlock and they were just more braindead stages that auto clears in five seconds. They should at least be able to make some kind of challenge stage for the events which gives one pull's worth of gems and the title for clearing it.

those are essentially a skip ticket for the Ascension tower. When you use them you go through each floor without having to fight enemies but you still get to pick your cards, using the shop and doing any events that trigger between and during floors normally. You basically only use them if you are lazy enough to go through the tower normally of if you are in dire need to speedrun your weekly 3000 point cap
