Alright /veegee/ I've been a woyer main or the past 20 years. I'm thinking about starting F R E S H when they inevitably drop classic vanilla+ and deciding what to main. Do I once again roll woyer, or should I roll rogue? I plan to get sweaty and do the (hopefully revamped) r14 grind. Playing alliance since I rolled horde last time. Is the rogue r14 armor set+weapons viable in every? I did good dps with the full pvp set with a handful of offpieces from raid as warrior, wondering if the same principle applies to rogues

TBC was not very fun IMO

It's a mix of the older, vanilla playstyle and the nu-wow WOTLK style gameplay. More vanilla than wrath but it's still in a weird place. The implementation of dailies started the long, gradual decay of free play. The raids are just okay, and heroics are fun for a total of like 3 weeks before they become either trivial with a guild group or annoying as shit to try and pug. I did enjoy black temple and hyjal, but SSC was ass alongside sunwell. I can see why people like the expnasion overall, though

It took me around 93,000 HK's to get to high warlord

So I killed literally thousands of frost mages in 1v1's. I made Bibbiddi ragequit flag running in WSG after a game where I did nothing but hunt him for close to an hour straight. In anything other than a 1v1 on a flat, no LoS angle arena with all cooldowns available and with him having engineering, I had a decent chance at killing the mage before he could kill me. Just by using unique trinkets and effective psychological warfare I could beat many mages, good ones at that.

Holy paladin in classic tbc sucks because the tank damage is so low you don't actually need one in the raid. At least on private servers the damage was overtuned so 1 holy paladin spamming holy light on the tank was mandatory
Shaman feels like a chore because the rotation is just as boring as holy pala + totem chore, but playing one at least guarantees you raid spot in a good guild

I agree Ahskandi is THE definitive classic sword, and the only one to be featured in a cinematic. I just like BRE because it sort of breaks the mold, and even comes with it's own weapon enchantment

not yet, but anyone with half a brain knows that it's coming. people liked the raids and it will be released on a much faster cadence which solves most of its problems. even if it flops, Legion is next, which they would be stupid not to do when we've gotten this far already.

Am I correct in saying that the Anniversary Ranking system functions in a very specific manner, due to no rank decay. For example farming 150k honor wont give you even 0.001% rank progression, whereas 250k can give you a whole rank, depending on whether you hit some obfuscated targets.
