I just realized you can use the new Onomat stuff to turbo out rank 4s and search the counter trap basically for free if you're on an XYZ deck, so I've added it to my old Time Thief list. This is not good, and it's probably infinitely worse than just playing Onomat and Ryzeal, but it lets me play my guy Redoer AND it allows you to search and set 2 counter traps in the right hands. And that might just be enough.

i've gotten like 5 royals in the last 2 days

Thats my problem with Striker too. I started the game recently so still learning all the meta decks choke point but holy fuck I have to sit there like a bitch until its my turn only to discover my hand had no out anyway (or sometimes I do have it but can't figure it out).

Playing a top tier going first and establishing an unbreakable board is the only way to enjoy this game. Or tenpai.

They can make Raider's Knight immune to targeted disruption but the thing about Raidraptors is that they don't just have one chokepoint, they have a bunch. And they die instantly to Maxx C/Fuwalos resolving. They're weak to Raider's Knight/Wise Strix getting impermed, they're weak to Purge/Impulse at multiple points, any Bystial fucks them up, even lesser hand traps like Ghost Belle can be huge issues for the deck because of how the RUMs work. And the deck is so engine heavy that it's hard to justify playing over any other modern XYZ deck that can fit an entire ritual archetype between itself and 15 hand traps.

I have Centurion cards, one or two Vanquished cards, and a couple Gold Pride cards sitting around. And the entire PUNK engine from when PUNK first released, which means it's totally out of date. Actually, I might have dusted the Vanquished. But at this rate I'm never playing any of these archetypes...

Centurion so far is my most "wasted" one. I really tried to pull for that multiple times and got the worst fucking pulls ever.

IMO Dragonmaids have a lot of room for non-engine so you can run some breakers like Superpoly or Evenly but a lot of top decks have such layered interaction that it's hard for a very normal summon focused deck to succeed. And despite everything the deck just doesn't have a lot of extenders outside of the LADD cards or hard drawing the fusion plus a big dragon. I've been theorycrafting a small D-Link package since you'll want to play Striker Dragon anyway and you can more easily get to Seals or even a Savage Dragon with something like Quick Launch as an extender, but it requires adding bricks and I think you'd be better off just jamming more non-engine. But I don't even know what that would look like against Onomat Ryzeal or Mitsurugi Ryzeal since both can search a negate trap now.

Paira is still a nice ash target if they lead with it or try to use it before getting up a monster negate, but the thing about the new Onomats is that they search with their XYZs but also off the monsters being detached as cost. So it's a 2-for-1 search that resists imperm, ash, veiler, etc. It is on a new chain so you can Droll in response, and the deck struggles into Droll without opening a bunch of Onomat names. The big thing is that they do need to control Onomat cards on the field to keep the combo going so you can Nib them if they used their normal summon in most cases and that'll shut their turn down. Just be sure to do it before they get a negate on field, so if they summon old F0 or Dragonar nib immediately. New F0 can't actually negate nib so you can let them extend into that just fine. But it's a surprisingly powerful deck even without the Ryzeal cards backing them up.

I don’t have any dust I used it on other archetypes I needed to finish. I try to fish some Nadir but mostly got Fleurdelis and Shuraig.
Also if we’re talking package I have no Ntss etc etc. Plus with white Forest HOPEFULLY around the corner I will need the gems.

that means you can't torrential tribute or solemn judgement the summon
once the monster has been summoned a chain is started with on summon effects and you can activate your own effects normally

Droll is one of the most powerful turn-skips in the game. It sacks the shit out of most decks. It's either fine at 3 or 0 and anything else makes no sense. 3 if you want to drown the game in bullshit and 0 if you want to avoid easy turn-skips with very very few outs.

White Relic is useful for OTKing after turn 1, beyond that she isn't terribly useful and is technically cutable. I like to run the card just for being able to out Towers, and that's particularly important if you go up against Lunalight, since White Relic+Alba Zoa cleanly out both Liger Dancers. IMO one thing your deck is really missing is the Ken and Gen engine. Gen the Diamond Tiger is a crazy powerful normal summon because it turns on Dogmatikamatrix, Thrust, Talents, and you can link it off for Almiraj to still summon Ecclesia. As a bonus, you also get to draw 2 and discard 1, meaning you can filter less useful cards. Hell, with the right hands you can be drawing 5 cards with Dogmatika, not to mention all the searches.

Hayate is still useful for what it was before it just doesn't come up as much. It can also get you more damage by sending Roze so Linkage boosts what it summons by 1k. Sometimes you want to do stuff like end on Shizuku then in the end phase she searches Linkage which you can immediately activate to go into Zero. You may then want to search Lemnis and immediately activate it so you can use its GY effect as a disruption.

That's not really true. Adventure Crystron got first place in the synchro cup. They're still strong cards for the same reasons Fiendsmith are. It's really just that there's little reason to pick them over Fiendsmith even if your deck can use them.
