There are other hidden spawn nodes, but some of them are revealed to you to give you an idea of how many walls ya need to clear to get any loot out of that shit.

For me: on the forums you will see an over 10-page bug report thread about loading screens. I'm one of them. That one thing, which I don't know how to diagnose, has kept me logged out all week. Yes. You don't HAVE to, but the game's wall clearing system 1. doesn't clear all of them, 2. waits multiple waves before clearing the maximum amount it will, and 3. doesn't even clear all the walls to let all the mobs (both fixed and spawning) reach the center.
And on top of all that, even if you do clear all the walls, it is possible to get spawns so shit on narrow corridor maps that almost no mobs spawn anyway.
Earlier, I had one spawn in the most terrible spot possible in a narrow hallway separating 2 parts of a map (already forgot which one, probably Arachnid Tomb or Lookout) and it spawned (2) total dots. Each wave was about 10 monsters, for 80 total and dropped.. 30 gold.

There's outright not enough dudes to Stabilize until Act 7 at the absolute earliest. And even then, you need literally 100% of them.

You can stabilize them in late Acts and T1 maps. I know, cause I did. You just need a lot of damage and AoE/proj/minions/etc. to get it everywhere.

And because it's not Adrenaline, it's actually viable.
If you have Wild Savagery and hit max Rage, it will refresh the duration of Wild Savagery and consume all your Rage.

It's not that expensive to test it yourself, but the buff is not Adrenaline anymore. They specifically changed it because Adrenaline would have interacted more favorably and let you keep max rage until your last Adrenaline fell off. With "Wild Savagery" it's probably just gonna refresh every time you hit max rage so you can never hit your max DPS potential and therefore it sucks. It's also changed to 100% physical damage instead of 100% damage so get rekt, kid.

Yeah the longer you spend in the toilet of doom the more stacks of debuff you get, which makes you take more damage. Usually you can get out with between 10-20 but if you die down there you get fucking 70. Save your quicksilver flasks and movement skills for it. Any kind of "action speed can't be lowered below x" passive makes it easy.

This is only my 2nd league I did Mercenary before.
I finished my Atlas and was thinking about trying SSF because I traded for better loot and kind of short cut myself. I'm looking at builds and trying to semi plan one out and I assume that this will be a dumb question as nobody is doing it.
But are Curses not worth investing into? There is one wheel that gives 20% effect which would make Enfeeble from 18 to 21% but Punishment goes from 58-70% and Despair from 30 to 36%.
Like I said I assume it's bad because people don't do it, but is it bad because it isn't worth the buttons or is it bad because the opportunity cost?

A weird observation is the hive fortress is obviously a poe2 tileset. The pathing is super rectalinear and open because it has been optimised for WASD. Walking around it feels super slow and barren because its so open. If you look at poe1 tilesets, they're complicated, twisted with tight paths and non-orthagonal. If you were to WASD in the mervail caves it'd probably be a fucking nightmare.

Tight twisty corridors are way easier to navigate with wasd, anyone who's played this game has seen their character go the wrong way or walk into a wall in lab because they leftclicked a foreground cage wall or something. Azak Bog and the Twilight Order island in A4 are pretty tight for example and they handle just fine.
The real thing 1 does better is verticality, most of the big Sarn areas would be absolute hell to navigate with how much you're hopping up and down ledges. Travel skills are a lot harder to come by in 2: Leap Slam is slow, Escape Shot has a rough animation lock and bad horizontal cover, Blink has a massive reservation, and Disengage is basically spammable but doesn't have enough range to do big gaps like in Sanctum

Play CWS chieftain. It's 100% totally, completely retard-proof, as long as you can get a couple uniques and don't enable brineking. It's not very good against bosses (you need to proc 5% explosion to deal any damage against pinnacle shit) but it also nearly immortal and is cheap. 50% Bloodnotch is 1div, fan the flames can be altspammed or bought for 20c, you can and should use exarch gloves to spread ignites though.

After that you can do most content with maximum packsize maps being the fastest. You can also AFK ultimatum or simulacrums, farm t17s and pretty much whatever else you want.

It's alright I guess. Killed the shaper with it, barely, and can farm T16 no problem. Also beat some beyond bosses, Beachheads, 10/10 ultimatums, Trialmaster, etc. Farmed/farming up some divs.
Wouldn't dare take it to T17 or Ubers though, since regular Shaper was a bitch and a half to kill with it, and I'm at almost 200 deaths because somehow I'm still squishy even though I really tried to stack defensively. Will probably stick with this and do lesser content to farm up for some meta alt.
There's definitely a more optimized version of what I'm doing here somewhere, probably on an Elementalist, or one of the other two Templar ascends. I just really wanted to do something with guardian Auras and the Aul bloodline and this is what I ended up with.
