At high difficulties, you need multiple copies of anti-grav boots to outspeed opponents. I tend to find my highest damage dealing characters to be my backline after a while, some characters (SW, Cerydra, Mydei, and Topaz) can get 3x turns of enemies when the boots speed start to stack. I then get a char that can ult based on conditions (Feixiao, Ack, Yangqing, Yunli, and Topaz) and arm them to the teeth.
Yunli is also godsent on higher difficulties, she can block 2 attacks every ult and her ult does decent damage and is charged from any ally attack or when she blocks an enemy's attack.
