Just finished DNA's story. Skills are both modified by wedges for ATK, skill DMG and skill modifier from levels.

I haven't tested resolve thoroughly, but in my brief experience it seemed like resolve was meh at 15% HP and very good at 1% HP. At the very least, Huntdown should outperform both Morale and Resolve while Psyche is outside of her special "always considered 1% HP" buff. You can get resolve from other sources like truffle bot as well, which makes Huntdown even more attractive for Psyche.

That said, it does reduce the damage from her combat skill and thus might make that intron 2 something of a nuisance, knocking enemies around while not adding much damage. But that is just conjecture from me.

I see a lot of "weapon bad skill good" and I genuinely would like to know if weapons are actually dog shit with bad damage when properly invested. Because most of the character "guides" I see they have the most scuffed garbage shit when they show the weapon screen its like level 61/70 with 5 wedges equipped (2 of which are blue) at max capacity, no tracks applied. And its like if that's what weapons are looking like no wonder people call them shit.

there's no need. 90% of the weapons will take ~3 seconds to kill a single mob at smelting 0, and 90% of the characters at intron 0 will kill it in 0.1 seconds by pressing a button.

They're not entirely useless but they don't hold a candle to skills. You can kill a single mob within 1-3 seconds while a skill can just one shot anything. Add to the fact they REALLY fall off after a few waves of excav and defense.

This is the reason that skills being infinite use with no cooldown is problematic. This is the only game I've played where skills and even ultimates work like this.
Skills need a real cost and/or cooldown so there is actual decision making that goes into them. Then weapons can fulfill their role as filler when skills are unavailable.

It gives a convenient excuse for Psyche walking around in her dress and Rhythm with a third of her uniform cut out. Lynn probably being the only major character in Icelake that seems dressed for cold weather. Even then, a skin tight suit might not actually provide much insulation.
