The bullets alone plus the materials to make them is already about 2m. Rebecca is the same. Normal "skin" looks like low res crap you would see in 2009 games and has broken effects on her hat that doesn't render despite texture still being there in game files. While her gacha skin looks really pretty. Filbert gacha skin is also a massive improvement.

Most efficient is by how much resources you have.

Hasn't finished story and sidequests? Go do it.
Farmed a lot of lunocoins? Weapon crafting will come easily.
Farmed a lot of coins or experience? Trying to ascend as high as you can everything you have is less mind numbing than lunocoins.
Have a lot of secret letters? Unlock shop characters.
Ascending all geniemons recolors/shiny gives trial exp as well.
Unlocking all introns is a farther last place because of how much it costs in letters and how little it returns in the short term compared to unlocking stuff.

Pig struggles uphill, anything you cant either zoom through or jump downwards. Eg. if you did the same tests from inside city to outside, pig would gain a second or two if you time the jumps right.

Tabethe is an excellent Skill DMG buffer.
Personally I'd go with Tabethe or Hellfire first for immediate value, it's fun zipping around with Rhythm but you can do it with Piercing Ascent or Truffle's Q too.
