I'm really getting tired of this site's moderation being painfully inactive and unresponsive. If anything the hacks have shown me the site is actively hostile towards its users and barely wants to try and maintain or improve any of the major communities they foster, only to just kinda "exist" and let bots, schizos, and shills waste our time and energy while we want to just have a good place for discussion. I'm sick of it all. I still have my pass because I love this site and I love /a/ and a bunch of other smaller threads elsewhere on the site, but if moderation sucks for basically all of the major boards aside from the ones most favored by moderation why bother staying here?

I hope they understand that this event is only going to degrade their userbase further rather than improve increasing it or improving its quality. Unless they take active, genuine measures to reach out to the more active communities on this site they REFUSE to try and control they're never going to have any genuine users aside from spergs and assholes ever again.

I understand staff left but so far the efforts to take this as an opportunity to improve have been absolutely pathetic. It squanders any of the remaining potential this site had remaining

I actually think it'll take a little more than like the 1 week since they came back online to make any major changes or structural reforms, or improve anything. It just takes too much time and it's not the case that anything can be flipped on with the blink of an eye.

I like /a/ a while back but they need an /as/ for Shonen/Sports. The b&fags are so stinky everywhere on the web and it's painful to watch. It makes me realize how important old-school forums were, so people could cringe out with a minimal audience.

100% agree. There's unironically a decent community here, with many interesting curious people.
Just needs a little tuning and work, and it could be something incredible.
