Why is it still a reportable offense to post the "N-word" on blue boards when not a single janitor will remove them?
I'm sure a mass email went out to the mods and janitors that "racism is cool now, feel free to ignore all complaints. Do not remove racist posts. We cannot upset our racist users."

But they should have also removed the rule from the reporting lists. I guess it's so they can still use it when they want to remove people. I was banned from /tv/ for sarcastic racism. They'd already grown tired of my left-of-center stances on things, and used it as a technicality to remove me, while leaving the actual hatespeech up.
I know, you're going to tell me to just go to another website. But I didn't make the rules. The rules state you can't drop N-bombs wherever you want, and all they have to do is drop the -er and use the -a. But they don't. They use the full spelling just casually. And also in a racist manner. But even if I were to type that word out HERE someone would report it (because I'm not a racist and therefore I guess an "enemy"?) and some janitor WOULD ban me.

This is hypocrisy. And it's just one type I see here. Someone needs to answer for it.

Will anyone actually admit they actively break the rules? Will anyone attempt to rationalize this for me?

But the racism stuff is a RULE. If I report racism and it never gets removed that means the management does not follow its own rules.

If the site's going to be openly racist they should just remove the rule. At least they can't ban me for reporting. I'm sure they get tired of seeing all the flagged posts which just have the ni&&er word that they themselves approve of and post with regularity. I'm sure that's why they take any opportunity to ban me when they can get me on something. I get a lot of "off-topic" bans. They make political threads and then anyone who opposes rightwing ideology is banned while the OP and the chuds get to keep posting.
It's essentially censorship on 4chan; completely against the spirit of the website. I'm not down to censor anyone. Take your N-word to /b/ or /pol/ where it's ALLOWED. Probably other boards allow it too. I'm more of a blue board guy.
I pay my dues and I respect the rules. I've been using the site for 15 years now. I'm not a fucking 'glowie' fed or a dreaded 'redditor'. I simply never changed my politics. Since the flood of 2016 it's like I'M the one who doesn't belong. Fuck that shit.

Too many people left and didn't come back after the hack, and the quality of the site has been steadily getting worse, yearly by year anyway. Numbers are dropping in response, and admin are scrambling to keep posters coming back.

This site, is practically on life support in terms of decent content now.

It's the whole 'for thee but not for me' system of enforcement. I've been banned because I'm a liberal. These people are insane. They utilize some kind of archive system to track down other posts I've made by image and then held them up to "expose" me.

This is the trouble, when (relatively) normal people just aren't interested in being jannies on a site like this. The only alternative is no jannies, sadly, which would be far worse than the occasional ban.

It's a shit sandwich, my advice is to try to hold back from saying anything that might upset an anime-obsessed manchild (although I know we all do it) and use the hide thread function liberally.
