Tried to join but can't on VPN and the solution was to message the admin on discord. I'd have to either turn off my VPN or make a discord account, join the discord server associated with this server, and then ask for an IP range to get unblocked and probably told no anyway. What a shit show, especially for a 4chan server.

How would copying anoncraft save the server if everyone is already on anoncraft? They can reset the map but it was just reset on anoncraft so anyone can just play there, they can make a new thread but why would people use it?

I think the core of the problem comes from the world not being made with expandability in mind. No one can build anything at spawn, no one can build anything on the main end island, no one can build anything in the nether hub because it's all too "complete" in a way that doesn't naturally allow people to express their creativity in a place where others can interact with it. When everyone has to /wild and then fly outwards in order to have a place they can build, why wouldn't they just play singleplayer? Then they also don't have to worry about the map resetting or their stuff getting griefed.

Honestly, cyber proved resets are healthy and good in the long term as long as they're done at the right time. There was very little push-back on the anoncraft discord over it. Lots of old players came back and the server has been thriving.

They also banned over half of /VM's/ total player base during different eras of /v/craft, so people from 3 owners ago are still banned for no reason. Entire groups of people gatekept out of modern vcraft for no reason lol. Its a admin incomptency issue.
