TGstation is completely unrecognizable compared to even a year ago and more and more longtime players are either getting perma'd, self-requesting bans, or just leaving. Pop there is nowhere near the levels it used to be after the countless drama and server/codebase incidents. You can't say "ligger" or "retard" on TG anymore and being a heckin' transphobic chud is an instant perma. The entire administration has been taken over by MRP trannies who are trying to turn it into another furry hugbox server. It's so fucking over.

/vg/station on the other hand is the same old and still has keeps longtime players. Sure, it never reached the same pop levels as TG but at least it's not cycling through a new wave of players every few months and desperately trying to keep attracting more. /vg/station has kept the classic SS13 experience. In terms of sheer volume of players lost during peak hours, TG fell off hard.

I think the reason the tg reboot servers fail is because none of them added a bunch of janky mechanics for fun. They all feel stagnate. Like everyone just wants to get their fill of nastolgia doing the same routine they have figured out.
