I stopped back when it still ran fine on Windows 7.

Maybe I should try it again, it is still installed on my Windows 7 computer.

It does kinda suck though.

Pic unrelated, I wanted to post a M'Ress pic but this is what you ban-happy shitters get from policy-aware malcontented folks.

I still do. Not necessarily every day unless there's an event going on. But I enjoy the story.

That said I really only play 1 character, despite having a dozen. The idea of grinding through some episodes multiple times to get all of the gear / unlock traits from ships on each character just doesn't appeal to me.

Already uninstalled, does not matter, Try "Deep Rock Galactic" sometime. It still runs on W7, tho steam is starting to fuck up on DRG updates now unless I start up the steam program on a windows10 computer, with that Steam File Sharing enabled in "Downloads", so strange, I should figure out how to report a bug to valve...

As far as I remember, caitians were premium-currency shit, correct?

I do still have some caitian illustrations but posting them would get the thread moved to /trash/ again because the art is too good.

I remember sending a lot of my hologram crew members to vacation, so that my remaining human crew could actually do some work.

Such bullshit they removed that. Also sucks they stopped doing interiors for so long. At least the Tarantula got a custom interior, even if it was just one weird room, but then they release cross-faction flying and don't even replace the crews with correct factions. Such strange decisions. They should let you customize your extended crew imo, any of the factions, plus some specific aliens like all caitians on the aspero, ferasans on the slithus, or all ferengi on the quark marauder.

I could never figure out the ship tiers. Like I get 1-5 and the basic of 6 upgrading with you. After that, though, it's like there's fleet and T-6 fleet, and then there's legendary c-store ships that are... fleet quality? But then there's other c-store ships like the Terran Adamant that are labeled and priced normally, but still count as fleet quality? It's a mess. That's not even mentioning the boxes, be it phoenix or infinity, which have ships ranging from literal OP meta to basically unplayable, plus all the lobi ships that seem to only be good for their consoles.
Anonymous No.1884686 >>1885382

Anonymous No.1885382
>>1884686
Sadly unlike FO76, they have a decent excuse. That being Paramount kneecapping their release schedule so they can approve every minor detail. Honestly they should have made every character a Temporal Agent regardless of faction so they could use it as an excuse to just do whatever and not worry about Paramount throwing a hissy fit every time. Then again, without the lore accuracy there's a good chance they'd give the character even more ridiculous god complexes. They need to introduce milk run stories for people who don't want to 1v1 the borg every other arc. I want to enjoy the hijinks of dealing with backwards societies and get into interdiction shenanigans.

It was fun but it also was stillbirthed. As a decade veteran of the game who saw it rise and fall, it breaks my heart to know that so much that was planned and made for the game was scrapped in the end, while employees were kept unpaid and expansions for the game and promises made undelivered so the suits could keep their paychecks going. The community went to shit as well once the City of Heroes players - mainly from the Virtue shard, invaded CO and demanded everything be added into Champions Online Role Playing, or CORP. Turned into years of cliques, sexual predators and backstabbing manipulators slowly but surely killing off the native RP scene all to be able to get a crumb of "power" in the community.

Recently I've been rewatching TNG and DS9 so it got me in the mood and I started a new character. I'm just doing the story missions. There seems to be a lot. Not sure what else there is to do. The community mostly talks about the drop rate of ships, so I guess that's the end game.
