Me, every time I drive a powerbuild without assists.

Racing line good because it gives you a general idea of how to take a given corner which is helpful when on a new track or in a vehicle that's new to you. The fastest line you just have to figure out on your own, as well as how much speed you can get away with carrying into or through a given corner. Some cars on some tracks you can fly through a corner with the braking line in the red whereas with others it needs to be damn near white to make it through as fast as you can. It's a solid learning tool and people should still at least run the braking line while learning a track but they shouldn't be following the full racing line religiously nor should they be following the braking suggestions religiously.

they should've gone the GT Sport route and focused exclusively on racing cars for FM8. Actually use the IMSA/BTCC/V8SC license to fully replicate their respective calendars, with structured leagues based on them. DLC should've been focused exclusively on other racing championships; Indycar DLC with the whole calendar and car lineup, full WTCR DLC calendar and lineup. that sort of thing.
Rehashing Gran Turismo 2 yet again was a major mistake. They should've known by now the people who want to just collect a ton of road cars have all migrated to Horizon.

Its 98th week of FM Rivals. "So what?" you may ask? Well, you see, the original Rivals, FH5 Rivals lasted for 97 weeks. So, FM Rivals overtook FH5 Rivals and now it's THE longest-running /forza/ Rivals Championship.
I'm gonna be real with you - when i first conceived the idea and format of FM Rivals, my very selfish personal goal was to make it last longer than FH5 Rivals. And i also expected FH6 to come out somewhere around autumn of 2025 or at least be properly announced, kek. I really expected to run FM Rivals till week 100 or something like that and either move current Rivals format to FH6, or retire and find someone who will become a successor for the title of Rivals Anon.
But it seems that FH6 will come out in 2026, so we gonna have to clench our fists, keep grinding and continue doing FM Rivals for at least ~1 year. Don't worry, i'm not tired of being Rivals Anon. I like Rivals. And i hope you guys like it also.

After a long break, i'm finally back in Forza Motorsport, and oh boy, i got a podium finish! And it was a well-deserved finish, i really had to work hard for it. If you look closely, you can see that i'm VERY rusty and don't look confident on track, so podium finish is a GREAT result, i think.

Bros, i always was a no-quali chad and i was loud and proud about it. "I'm too lazy lmao", "starting at the back is more fun and challenging", etc etc. But in reality, i was scared of doing quali because 1)my chances of grabbing pole in lobbies full of sweats are close to zero, so why even try; 2)realistically, i'm probably gonna quali somewhere in top 10, which means i'm gonna be right in the middle race start meatgrinder, which isn't optimal.
Today i decided to stop being a little scared bitch. From now on, i'm doing quali.
Here's what i learned today from my quali sessions: 1)i'm actually faster than i thought - i consistently quali in top 5; 2)even if i quali lower - i still manage to avoid or minimize T1 chaos; 3)my race pace is usually good enough to successfully defend my starting position, and good enough to attack opponents ahead; 4)starting at the front and dictating the race pace is much more fun than adapting to it when starting at the back; 5)fucking up tyre/pit strat hurts much more when you running at the front.
Overall, i'm glad i decided to start doing quali. Without quali, i usually start Nordschleife race in ~P20 and finish ~P15. With quali, i start P5 and finish P5, even if i fuck up a bunch of times. Big improvement.
Also, Loner, your tune setup for GT2 Dodge Viper is terrible, drives like a pig. It understeers like crazy and the weight distribution is a disaster. You made an understeery car more understeery. It's not the fastest GT2 car and the engine awkwardly redlines at ~5500rpm, which means it's not the most confidence-inducing car ever. So, the only way to save this car is by making it more agile. It can benefit a lot from lower slip angle ratio. Make that bitch slide in mid/high speed turns, make your opponents sweat by overtaking them during a controlled slide at 200kmh, uknowhatimsayin'?

I'll try my best once i finish the "49 laps of fujimi kaido in indycar" challenge. It takes WAAAAAAAAY longer than i expected and it's VEEEEERY draining mentally.

The biggest problem with "49 laps of fujimi kaido in indycar" is not the difficulty. Hell, i would even say that it's not really THAT hard to do. Once you take the lead in the race and develop a healthy time gap that allows you to have an extra pitstop without a risk of undercut/overcut, you have nothing else left to do but drive and drive and drive for hours and hours and hours. Which is EXTREMELY tedious and boring.

I'm doing "49 laps of Fujimi Kaido in indycar" challenge. It's so boring that i have to invent new ways to keep myself entertained. Like, changing camera to cockpit view and doing questionable moves just to see what happens.

Me and another dude were racing beside each other, and then there was this dog in the middle of the road. Dogs are programmed to run away from cars, so it tried to run to the right, but that's where the other guy was, so it turned back and run right under me. I heard it help in pain as my car drove over it... what have I done...
