If Hi-rez ever wants this game to grow they got to ditch the casual audience.

Last time I played smite it was against incon, and I missed like half of my chains, my adc dced, and I still won.
You should be able to carry against random sub masters.
Honestly probably the real issue is that at this point ranks are entirely meaningless because there is probably a pool of 200 ranked players out of the 1,000 people still playing smite. Someone could be silver and actually be bronze 5 or be plat and be a top 500. Most people quit long before this point. It's like the old days playing on curse waiting an hour for a ladder match.

There's no difference between silver and gold, they are both completely useless. Anyone in gold or below would have been bronze in Smite 1. I used to be gold/plat in Smite 1 and am Obsidian in Shite 2 ranks are inflated as fuck.

Bronze in smite is Diamond in shite 2.
